Netflix hasn't worked in several weeks. Wife spend five hours on phone trying to get it reset. Nothing. Netflix absolutely sucks.
Make sure you are logged in.
I am finding less and less to watch on NFLX. We just signed up for a trial of Hulu and I was pleased to see that every Seinfeld episode is available there.
Maybe it’s you - again...
I dumped it when they announced they were paying the Obamas $50 million.
It wasn’t a very hard decision to make. They had virtually nothing that was worth watching. All crappola.
Online or device? Could be the device has aged out. My smart TV has gotten too old. Almost none of the apps work anymore, and Sony isn’t making updates. Luckily I’ve got a smart bluray, and cable box. So it doesn’t matter. If your device is in a similar boat there’s nothing Netflix can do.
I quit watching.
Alternate email/new account
Can you login on a computer or phone.
We canceled Netflix. Not much there.
They were too busy overpaying Obama to upgrade their server network. Lots of people at home trying to stream, for that matter, a good many people streat at work. [stop looking at me!]
Double suck.
“My smart TV has gotten too old. Almost none of the apps work anymore, and Sony isnt making updates.”
I think our “Smart” TV was old when we got it. I have never used the apps on the TV, I use some Tivo apps (though they seem old) and use FireTV stick for any new apps.
Amazon Prime has FAR more content than Netflix.
If it’s not free w/Prime to stream then you can rent it for a couple of bucks.
Netflix is OK for their original content but beyond that it is pretty lame.
You can also buy videos on Prime.
It’s costing more, and there’s less worth watching. Typical progression from the progressive Left.
did you call?
Yeah, that was my reason canceling Netflix. I already pay for Prime and keeping Netflix felt like rewarding them for associating with the Obamas.
How far away are you sitting from the TV?
Delete the app. Clear any cookies. Reinstall.
Its an app, just like any other. They are probably not going to fix it from their end.
Also, 99% of Netflix issues are a result of your internet. There are lots more people accessing internet on your system now (because they are home) so it might be putting a strain on your system. Test your download speed.
Asking for help on a forum like this is fine. Complaining about Netflix and how they don’t fix your problem is probably not as productive.
Take it upon yourself to think the issue through. Do a search on what is happening. 99% of the time you can figure it out. Its not rocket science. And its probably not Netflix’s fault.
