Scientists published on the National Institute of Health website reported on three-dozen clinical trials underway, testing the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine HQC to treat cancer.
In fact, HCQ is being tested on brain tumors, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, but also diabetes and arthritis, as well as Lupus and other maladies where it was already known to be an effective treatment. Its also been found safe enough to be used by pregnant women.
And whats even more eye-opening, never mind getting a prescription for this cheap generic drug, the active ingredient, otherwise known as Quinine, whats in tonic water, you can brew at home by steeping a grapefruit peel!

I have a good friend with lupus who has been on it for many years. She says that there will likely be some digestive distress for a week or two when you first go on it that resolves itself over time, and that testing for potential effects upon vision in the form of retinopathy as well as keeping an eye on heart function is tested for with long term use to get ahead of those potential side effects before there is any real cause for concern. Other than that, shes had no concerns and it is effective in managing her lupus which can be pretty severe if untreated.
thanks..just hanging back and resting my weird eye problem. seems to do better if I keep computer strain to a minimum

I would like to see a spectral analysis of grapefruit rind to see if there really is any quinine there and, if so, how much. I am rather unconvinced that there is. Cinchona and grapefruit are not closely related taxonomically. Also, the quinine bark you buy in the health food store probably has had most of the quinine removed.

Only one. They require special eye exams every year. The doctor said she could see some changes to the lens in one relative.
The blue-haired ladies at the country club swear by it.
After all, we cant trust anecdotal evidence.
Im not entirely sure that the connection is exactly there. Some years back I single handedly kept Jim Beam in the black. I never got sick either. It wasn’t until I started to let too much blood leak into my alcohol stream that things started to change.
