And what’s even more eye-opening, never mind getting a prescription for this cheap generic drug, the active ingredient, otherwise known as Quinine, what’s in tonic water, you can brew at home by steeping a grapefruit peel!

At best, one would have to drink over six liters of tonic water (1.6+ gallons) to reach 100 mg of quinine.

There are some issues presented in the article you posted. One issue is the idea that hydroxychloroqine is chemically the same as quinine. It is not. It is similar in chemical structure..but it is not the same. Just because both can be used vs. Malaria does not mean they are the same. So also ,if hcq shows activity against covid 19...that does not imply that quinine can do the same. You may look up the chemical structures on any decent chemical data base.
Another issue is the link in the article which tells you how to make quinine from grapefruit peels. The link actually details the method of peeling and eating a grapefruit.
Those two major gaffes really take the shine off of that post.
Skip the grapefruit and use cinchona bark (available online from pennherb.com and others).

More than anything, HCQ is the little string that once pulled unveils the fraud that is modern medicine.
For more insight that we won’t be able to publish, in the short term, at least, go read about how the AMA was funded — on two conditions:
1) never mention the herbal remedies and 2) always prescribe, when possible, a petroleum-based salve and opium-derivatives. ‘Cuz those help our business interests, full stop.
