Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) fired back at President Trump Tuesday after the president referred to Northam as “crazy” and an opponent of Second Amendment rights.
Trump, speaking at a White House event Tuesday, followed a speaker from Virginia by saying, "We're going after Virginia, with your crazy governor, we're going after Virginia. They want to take your Second Amendment. You know that, right? You'll have nobody guarding your potatoes."
“I grew up on a Virginia farm, Mr. President - our potatoes are fine. And as the only medical doctor among our nation's governors, I suggest you stop taking hydroxychloroquine,” Northam tweeted. “Let's all get back to work.”
Northam’s tweet was in reference to the president’s statement on Monday that he has been taking the antimalarial drug, frequently prescribed for arthritis and lupus.
Numerous Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) have warned about possible risks from the president taking the drug, as has Fox News’s Neil Cavuto.

Just another thing to point and say ‘Orange man makes bad decisions’. Also, as he takes it and experiences no negative effects, it sort of discredits their fear mongering. The D’s can’t have that. They need to keep everyone manipulated via fear.
Well, I’m assuming Cavuto’s 40 studies don’t include the VA’s insult to people’s intelligence, anyway.

I don’t believe most people do. It seems to be counter-indicated for people like me (a family history of heart problems) or Cavuto (heart surgery), but I still suspect anybody who is genuinely heart healthy could discuss taking this drug with his doctor.

This has turned into the most childish episode yet. A mature person would say if Trump’s doc said it was ok, then it’s fine. My body, my choice. This is just ridiculous. I’d be willing to bet that a lot of governors are on it including Northam.

Not all physicians are decent and honorable. Northam is a pediatrician who has celebrated killing newborns. Only a fool would seek this vile man’s advice.
I believe Frist was a good heart surgeon.
I don’t know. I only heard part of his show today; he did appear to be following up on it with the research he did that found the 40 failed studies.
