Jerry Stiller, actor and comedian and father to Ben Stiller, has died of nature causes. He was 92.
Ben Stiller confirmed his fathers death in the early hours of Monday morning, writing on Twitter: Im sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.
More to come.

He and his wife were married for 61 years, she passed away about 5 years ago.
RIP. Thanks for the laughter.
Saw “Stiller and Meara” live at a concert in Elyria, Ohio, 1966.
Enjoyed his work. RIP.
WWII veteran.
RIP
What a great actor. Prayers to his family. Rest in Peace, Jerry.
Just saw him in “The Taking of Pelham 123” with Walter Matthau. He was a funny dude even when he wasn’t trying to be.
He worked in the trenches for years with his wife but only became widely known due to Seinfield. Ill bet he was on Ed Sullivan with wife Anne Meara, more than a few times.
They were known as Stiller and Meara, a comedy act.

One of my colleagues met Anne Meara once in a New York restaurant. Said she was an extremely gracious lady. Jerry Stiller was a very talented actor who will always be remembered for giving Festivus to the world. RIP.
the first time I saw Jerry Stiller was in the old Equalizer series in the 80’s.
He definitely broke into popular culture with his role on Seinfeld, but I would venture that he is most well-known for his time on King Of Queens in which he had a lot more acting credits there.
According to IMDB he appeared in 206 episodes of KoQ, compared to only 26 episodes of Seinfeld. He’s funny in both, but personally I laughed more at his crazy father in-law stint during KoQ.
He was pretty funny in King of Queen’s as well. 207 episodes.
I loved The Equalizer. Wish it was in reruns somewhere. It’s the one 80’s crime drama that I can’t seem to find anyplace.
First cell phone and laptop computer I ever saw were on that show.
Festivus for the rest of us! Always enjoyed him and his screen wife estelle on Seinfeld. RIP funny man
