I loved The Equalizer. Wish it was in reruns somewhere. It’s the one 80’s crime drama that I can’t seem to find anyplace.

First cell phone and laptop computer I ever saw were on that show.

The Equalizer was a great show. They cannot make intelligent shows like that today. It had bad guys who were black and white. Edward Woodward made his name here in The Wickerman, which I saw. Then a few later he stars in The Equalizer.

it’s available on DVD, and make sure it’s the international release as the US versions do not have or intentionally limited the Stewart Copland soundtracks as NBC had an issue with copyright for the songs. The soundtracks (esp. the INTRO) were done exclusively by Stewart Copeland of the Police which made the show unique. Even Jan Hammer could not come up with original scores for Miami Vice for episodes but Copeland actually did most of it.
