A Brooklyn woman desperately ill with the coronavirus is breathing easy this Mothers Day thanks to a novel treatment her medical-student son helped provide.
Josephine Bruzzese, who is 48 and otherwise healthy, woke up on March 22 with a fever, body aches, dry cough and trouble breathing. She lost the ability to smell or taste. Her family rushed her to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Sunset Park.
She was so short of breath she couldnt speak said her 23-year-old son, James.
The hospital diagnosed the mom of four with pneumonia, but with no coronavirus tests available, it sent her home as a suspected COVID-19 case.
Some symptoms improved when Bruzzese, who works in banking, was given the antibiotic azithromycin and the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine but she still couldnt breathe.
We were very worried because she couldnt stand up without almost passing out from shortness of breath, her son said. Her respiratory symptoms were very severe.
James, who lives with his parents and three siblings in Bath Beach, is in his second year at the CUNY School of Medicine in a special program that combines a bachelors and medical degrees.

the anecdote on texags site of the guy that was vacationing was the family Dr consulted with CDC Dr and ordered celebrex, a steroid, and Ivermectin. He first had to go to a local clinic and they responded to the family Dr that he was the worst they had seen.
is there some good way to make it taste better,.lol..although..it’s not as bad as liposomal C.
Yeah...something went right...but what and why. I guess that is why it would be called “anecdotal” I hope there is someone who after sifting through the helpful legit anecdotal reports can find the common thread that links all of the signs, symptoms, pathologies and successful interventions. In the meantime, stay well.
It’s pretty powerful, drink less and mix with fruit juice.
You making your own? Try GT brand at wallyworld. The Kombucha mother digests sugar to make two types of Glutathione as a vinegar. If it sits too long it’s more like drinking vinegar than tea. Walmart has high turnover so its fresh and not so strong.
a lot of people are searching for ways to deal with this when they get the dreaded “you only have 3 of the 4 symptoms and your fever is only 100” ...so no COVID test for you. Go home.
That happened to a poster here with her grandson.
Here is one man’s story ( a lung DR) who would have died if he hadnt gone to the ER. He crashed. The ferritin level was insane

webMD makes us all experts!
LOL - kidding.
My thought is that she was already over the “hump” and was on the mend when the son got involved.
The good thing is that she, like all mothers, loves her son!
And that is absolutely true....
NAC would be more likely to cause low blood pressure.
I took all of those for at least two years, every day, with other supplements, and never had an issue. However, we stopped taking NAC daily, due to concern around a byproduct, TMAO.

We still take it if we think a cold is coming on, because it is the main ingredient to thin mucus in cough syrups.
There are plenty of other antioxidants one can ingest, and we get those.
IF she was in increasing oxidative stress, she was not on the mend. She was about to cascade into organ failure. But you knew that ...
Clearly there are aspects of this infection which we do not know yet. My hunch is that there is a genetic disposition to the way each petson responds. Some...no symptoms...some young people ...death....some old people...survive. The most susceptible are those whose condition is exacerbated by the effect of the virus. Heart, lung, low oxygenation conditions are affected when the lung is attacked. Then you have the cytokine storm. My hunch...a dysregulated innate immune system....genetic or acquired...unknown. Hunch: genetic...otherwise everyone would get it.
Sadly...we will find out who is at risk....only after many have perished. In the meantime, stay well.
Just my 2 cents.
Actually, now that I think about it, I think the zinc picolinate arrived just as I was getting sick, so I didn’t start it.
Bump for later
I'll go get the other video done later.
Well we do know the Swedes have a CCR5 delta 32 quirk that sort of protects them against HIV...and it could with this as well.
One person here with a scientific background thought it might be possible that I might actually do better with COVID 19 because my body deals with oxidative stress on a daily basis. That would be great....but ....as I sit here with the second day of a dyspnea ..I am not so sure.
Thank goodness I Have had it before or I would be thinking I for sure had Covid 19 since my neighbor has it.
Here ya go, doc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOlVkES_kC8
your body can have weird reactions when first taking supplements.
That strange herxheimer reaction like freaky thing that happened to me was very very likely due to the 50k Vitamin D hammer my Dr prescribed
Roughly...C reduces or blocks zinc absorption- stop C use about an hour before taking zinc, and wait 30-ish mins after to resume C use.
I love this guy. I think you are the one that was posting his stuff long ago and that is how I found it. I think it was the one talking about looking for a zinc transporter.
The comments from other Drs in the comment section on there are also helpful
are there any virologists hanging around that want to comment on what this Dr said about the virus
“Marcus Aurelius8:30aAG Im no virologist, but It seems obvious a 12 nucleotide add-on mutation conferring higher infectivity rates would not occur by chance.”
Thank you. I’m new to taking supplements and have been wondering when it’s best to take them. I’ve been taking Emergen C when I get up and then some zinc right before breakfast.
I’ll wait until after breakfast for the zinc now. I have some vitamin D on the way so when should I take that?
