A Brooklyn woman desperately ill with the coronavirus is breathing easy this Mothers Day thanks to a novel treatment her medical-student son helped provide.
Josephine Bruzzese, who is 48 and otherwise healthy, woke up on March 22 with a fever, body aches, dry cough and trouble breathing. She lost the ability to smell or taste. Her family rushed her to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Sunset Park.
She was so short of breath she couldnt speak said her 23-year-old son, James.
The hospital diagnosed the mom of four with pneumonia, but with no coronavirus tests available, it sent her home as a suspected COVID-19 case.
Some symptoms improved when Bruzzese, who works in banking, was given the antibiotic azithromycin and the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine but she still couldnt breathe.
We were very worried because she couldnt stand up without almost passing out from shortness of breath, her son said. Her respiratory symptoms were very severe.
James, who lives with his parents and three siblings in Bath Beach, is in his second year at the CUNY School of Medicine in a special program that combines a bachelors and medical degrees.

That get him kicked out of the program for saving a life with cheap supplement. Nobody can make any money off that.
It's not actually a drug. It is a nutritional supplement like you would buy over the counter at at GNC. In this case, an amino acid.
The format of the list is: amino acid name - 3 letter code - 1 letter code (reference to gif image, reference to interactive molecule)
Weight Lifters and Body Builders have used specific Amino Acid supplements for many years.
look at Moringa oleifera.
it has quercetin
If you have access to Wiley you will see similar here.

I just had a recent blood test and I think my “G” was at normal levels with thalassemia minor
Going to buy this anyway to have on hand. No one seems to know how someone who already has oxidative stress is going to handle this..although there was some info from Italy that indicated a small group of Transfer dependent thalassemia patients did not do as badly as you would expect with Covid 19
Oh wow. Of course... L-Glutathione. My first thought was a tracheotomy with a steak knife and a ball point pen.
“and drink a glass of tonic water (with quinine)”
There’s a cool way to improve the taste. Freepmail me...
I did. I read Thst someone without a bachelors degree picked up a phone and presented symptoms without the attending having a look and subsequently used over the counter meds to treat a disease. It is dubious given the length of disease if the patient was getting better already or other factors contributed. It is particularly bad to promote things thwt are the equivalent of snake oil.
Here’s more info from the actual case study write up:
“On March 31, reduced, liposomal glutathione was added to her antibiotic regimen along with 50 mg of zinc and 1-g TID of Vitamin C. The patient was given 2000 mg of l-glutathione PO all at once with 2 Alka seltzer gold, along with alpha lipoic acid 600 mg, and N-acetylcysteine 1200 mg. The patient saw immediate improvement described as being able to breath better and having more energy within an hour of use. After administration of the glutathione, the cough resolved and she was able to sleep through the night for the first time since the onset of illness, despite having been on her antibiotic regimen for several days. She was also able to take a deep breath for the first time. The following morning after administration of 2000 mg of PO glutathione for a second time, the patient was able to ambulate, perform activities of daily living, and shower without pre-syncopal episodes arising from dyspnea. This was the first time she could perform activities of daily living since the onset of her illness. The following day, additional doses of glutathione were given, one time at a lower dose of 500 mg PO, which did not have the same therapeutic effects as the higher dose of 2000 mg of GSH. All doses of glutathione administered to the patient were liposomal doses; and were subsequently administered at 2,000 mg PO due to superior efficacy. Since that time, 5 days after receiving initial doses of GSH, the patient remained well and symptom free.”

Sit down, Macgiver, its not your turn.
The nausea was from the Zinc...try to cut back a bit. Hope you’re feeling better!
She could have been another Coumo casualty.
Yes he will make it difficult to obtain.
His quick thinking was to call a family doctor.
One of the Drs on the virus thread who has a wife that works in a hospital is big on NAC. he likes Jarrow brand NAC sustaine
He is doing some kind of study on Covid I think but dont remember details.
Opps...misread your statement. Thought you asked what was OTC.
:)
I’m taking NAC (among other things.) I may buy some l-glutathione to keep on hand just in case.
Ivermectin is for parasites and it was used for COVID19
BUMP
I do tonic water, AND elderberry syrup each day
A good source of Glutathione is the health food drink Kombucha. Add green bell peppers and it super charges your liver for expelling certain Toxins also.
