Flubros and Flubras! Day 49 (a place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

Two things today:

Public policy contradicts the science - Wuhan flu will stop when herd immunity occurs. Both deaths and economic damage are minimized when herd immunity occurs as a result of largely asymptomatic people getting exposed to the virus as quickly as possible. Anything done by policy makers to actively prevent the spread of Wuhan Flu to the healthy (eg school closures and business lockdowns) actually winds up increasing the number of deaths and hurting the economy. The target should be to try and get the approximately 60% with antibodies needed for herd immunity to be largely from the healthy population. Ben Shapiro has been good about this recently - I guess Israeli scientists call it the controlled avalanche approach.

We Flubros published our version of the same science here (we were first to publish)

Public policy is both killing people and destroying the economy.

Boosting immune system against CV - Young healthy people are not affected by CV. This will be known as the nursing home disease with maybe half of all deaths nursing home residents. Nursing home patients are often stuck inside all day which makes them vitamin D deficient. Low vitamin D is apparently an excellent predictor of probability of dying from CV. So vitamin D supplementation and/or sunlight will help make sure you are asymptomatic if you get exposed. Extra zinc might also help as it kills the virus. Not sure of the science but maybe since Hydroxychloroquine plus zinc helps them zinc alone must surely help too. Any other Flubro insights on how to stay healthy when exposed to Wuhan?

Good morning

FEAPER TALKING POINTS

1. 2300 deaths. We have our heads up our ass
2, boomerang coming with increased infections as states open

The facts....they use worldodometer for numbers. It was like election night last night. NY reported at the last minute on this site taking deaths to greater than 2000 and new cases to over 20,000. It was very odd Becuase NY releases it’s numbers around noon.

Games continue to be played with death statists. However every individual state looks like death rates are in the decline. In Florida yesterday there was a report of over 70 deaths which makes it the second highest day. Those deaths occurred over the last two weeks but the reporting website is not sophisticated enough to pick up on the daily state report that says what say the death actually occurred

The goalposts have so subtly changes it’s insidious. We have flattened the curve. BUT what they don’t want to tell you is that lengthening and flattening the curve is to in theory stop resources from being overwhelmed. It does not reduce the number of cases

Finally look for today hand wringing to center around second wave. Mind you that every country is through this by 80-100 days and that the warmer weather will quell the infection

Today’s interesting data is that mutations are being recorded and it’s weakened the virus. Which is exactly what one would expect. Nothing new here...

The vitamins are ok. Not really shown to be a benefit but can’t hurt. With the exception of Vitamin D the rest has very marginal evidence. In order to stay safe...wash your hands often, keep your hands out of your mouth, nose and eyes

And be joyful. Nothing pisses off a Fearper more than a happay warrior. And happiness actually improves the immune system.

I was walking down Woodward Ave. in Detroit yesterday evening. As I passed a guy standing in the doorway of a dilapidated old house he said “Pssssssst, hey buddy, looking for a haircut?”

Re: Vit D. I spend a lot of active time outside and so never considered it necessary, but there was some kind of bug going around in December that left me with lingering bronchitis for almost two months. Maybe it was an early arrival of wuhan flu, I don't know.

In any case I started a daily regimen of C, D3, Zinc, and Turmeric. We Gen Xers are getting up there in years, so I figured it was a good time to start with supplements.

A side benefit is that allergies aren't as bad this year.

I love life but I also cherish the ability that we have, which is to Live life. A nasty Flu Bug just plain sucks but the world is filled with those that cherish fear and prey on the weak. Division and panic brings about more fear and less life to be lived... Keep more people scared to move beyond the “safety” of their homes and watch that leading cause of death skyrocket in the future.

We got a reminder of the fragility of life this morning. During our Safety Huddle this morning we mentioned the bad car wreck just down the street and the large presence of Fire Trucks and an Ambulance. I could hear a helicopter over at the small airport and pointed out that it was Life Flight that was transporting the person to the hospital. We watched it take off and fly towards Charlotte...

Added D3 to my regimen of vitamins about 7 years back after hearing about the health benefits in the Steve Gibson “Security Now” podcast on computer security of all things. Since adding a daily d3 capsule, I’ve gone from having about 3 colds a year to an average of no colds per year. The one exception was a 3 day sniffle this past November (Wuhan Flu beta edition??).

I call it a plandemic. It’s becoming more and more clear each day that we’ve been lied to big time. Wonder if the unwashed basement dwelling fearpers will ever catch on.

Currently, I'm taking "Now" brand D-3 5,000 IU which comes in a small soft gelcap. The stuff is cheap insurance. Less than $10 for 240 capsules on Amazon. Taking 1 capsule a day. Your milage may vary.

Over 100,000 killed in this country by the Hong Kong Flu. When we had a total population 2/3 what it is today.

Perhaps sometimes the flu can be worse.

Looks like a picture of people who believe gubmint numbers. How many people have actually died of Wuhan flu? You don’t know because they are padding the numbers and counting pretty much everybody that dies now of anything as dying of Wuhan flu. Dr. Birx said that anybody who dies with the Wuhan virus will be counted as a Covid 19 death. The actual number that have died of Wuhan flu is likely less than usually die of normal flu annually.
