We have allowed our rights to be woefully diminished by continually voting for numskulls and not doing our homework when it comes to this most important civic duty. We all remember the re-elect no one bumper stickers. How true that was and still is. I unfortunately am as guilty as the next. Down line Republican while it is 100% better then down line Democrat still fleshes out the likes of a Jeff Flake a Mitt Romney or worst yet a Lindsey Graham. I have been removed from two business in the last week for improper mask usage. According to my local gestapo face masks must be worn in all public places starting April 13th 2020. This a the order in a nut shell... " Masks are not advised for children under two years of age, or for people who have difficulty breathing. Masks made for use in health care settings, such as N95 masks, should be reserved for health care workers. Cloth masks are an acceptable alternative for face coverings." So I was told my mask did not cover my nose and I said so what, no where in the county order did it say that is a must. In the county liquor store { I was there for my wife } I forgot my bandanna style mask so I pulled my T-shirt up over my mouth and nose and still was told to leave for not wearing a proper mask. My church has been closed for over a month but my Liquor store is still open and worse yet not a peep from my Local Arch Bishop. We have to start doing a better job of electing people. These same people that told us to where a mask told us to get under our desks in case of a nuclear attack. If only the Japs would have had desks to hide under WW2 would have had a different ending I guess. I don't know if I have a real point or if this is just a PO-ed ramble but I'm sick and tired of the government telling me they are keeping me safe. I can keep my own self safe I want me government to keep me free. WE have allowed crazy voting rules like early voting, late voting, mail in voting ect. I'm ready to go back to land owners only voting. Even must be employed for 12 straight months to vote and darn tooting you must have a real ID to vote. These idiots that roam the halls of our Capital Building don't do a damn thing unless they get laid or paid. So make darn sure all of us do our homework this Nov. and get our freedoms back.

First and foremost we have allowed this by supporting a media that lies. They lie. The media sets the news cycle and the agenda. Culture, academia, and Hollywood bring up the rear.

I'm not disagreeing with your points. Such things as land only voting have a lot of wisdom and if there were a movement for it I'd be for it property or at least the paying of taxes being a requisite for voting. But 'we' did not allow this. The people on this site, and right leaning people are not all-powerful.

Lots of people think it lacks humility to take credit for things one did not accomplish. That's true. But it also lacks humility to take blame for things one did not cause.
