Open it up. It’s either going to work, or it’s not. Lives are a concern, and freedom is a concern. We are being attacked by a virus, and we are also being attacked by Leftist opportunists.
I’ll be stocking up tomorrow again. I’m still being as careful as I can, but I’m trying not to get too crazy about it. But I’m also going to continue to try and exercise my own freedom by walking my dogs in places where there are few to no people, such as the track at the school and in the woods.
The reason I am doing that is to maintain mental and spiritual health, because I need that. I think it’s important for people to find a way to express and exercise their freedom, but not in reckless ways, because that is something precious that we also need to keep through all of this.

Recent studies by Italian scientists have shown that ferritin is able to activate macrophages. The latter are a type of white blood cell of the immune system that play a critical role in innate immunity, being the body’s first line of defence.
This is evidenced by hyperferritinemia in patients with septic shock, catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome, and other medical conditions characterised by macrophage activation. Similar observations have been reported by scientists from China and the United States.
‘When activated, macrophages begin to secrete cytokines. These are a category of signalling molecules that mediate and regulate immunity. At low concentrations, they are safe for the body and help to protect it against viruses and bacteria. At high levels, the so called “cytokine storm” develops, which can be lethal for half of the patients, especially for the elderly,’ explains Yehuda Shoenfeld. ‘Thus, hyperferritinemia has been associated with increased illness severity and adverse outcomes, including COVID-19. personally, i think it is going to be a disaster in some areas but I think at this point we have to do it.

I have that same fear. Sometimes my fear runs away with me, and I think it’s going to be a disaster everywhere.
But, for the hopeful good of my country, I will stay home, because I know I am at risk. I will not fault others for anything they choose to do. I don’t have to be right. I only have to be alive and free.
But even at risk as I am, I still want to be free.
I can’t even tell you, RummyChick, how good it felt, how uplifting to my soul it was, to simply take my dog for a swim in the woods, or to walk them in the sun on the track yesterday.
I know there are 100s of millions of people in this country who also want freedom, and I am not going to be one to tell them no, you can’t have it, even as I steal away to the woods to enjoy my own freedom.
If I must die, then let me die free.
That aside though, the news this morning of hydroxyC and how it works as a preventive measure seemed very promising.
I also do not want to die alone suffocating. I’ll take a pass on that right now!

My GP says there are no preventive measures. I think possibly we on FR are ahead of him on this. I think there are. And I can see why they are keeping it secret. The supply would be gone in no time, and the big fearless patriots would be the first ones at the pharmacy door.

While there are a lot of people out of work, most people still have their jobs and most of the people that don’t will get them back over time. Crashing the HCS will crash the economy, and not in a controlled slowdown, but in an abrupt, hard manner.

My wife, who is vulnerable, now works from home. One of my sons who works in the food industry is going back to work (takeout only, minimal exposure for him) in days as our state opens back up. A few of my other children never saw even a hiccup in their jobs. One already worked from home, another in a factory, and another as a manager of a chain of stores. The economy is not dead, but sorry if you counting your nickels had to stop for a moment so some other people didn’t have to die for your benefit. But just from my own wife and children it is clear that the economy is merely bruised, not broken, and will rebound unless the FluBros ruin the 30 days like they ruined the 15 days. Just keep up the nonsense if you want your predictions to come true - that’s the goal, right? All you CCP tools want to do as much damage and sow as much confusion and chaos as you can, right?

Nearly 70,000, and undercounted at that, in 2 months. No flu has ever done that, except the Spanish Flu and currently we’re matching (exceeding, slightly) its average pace in spite of 100 years of additional medical progress and more aggressive mitigation. Statistically The Wuhanic Plague is killing more people per day on average than the Spanish Flu did, although the SF did its killing of 675,000 Americans over 2 years and this virus has only been killing Americans for 2 months. Better hope there isn’t a new surge when things open up, or another wave when the weather cools.

Is Colchicine not the only gout drug with possible efficacy against CV19? Indomethacin antiviral vs SARS-CoV? From a 2006 study:

So, indomethacin could possibly reduce inflammation through cyclooxygenase inhibition AND act as a potent antiviral, while colchicine might prevent cytokine storm by counteracting the assembly of the NLRP3 inflammasome, thereby reducing the release of IL-1b and an array of other interleukins, including IL-6, that are formed in response to danger signals.
