New Thrtead, starting 4/25/2020
Have you come across this product?
Total new cases should drop over the weekend. They have for at least a month. Probably due to less testing.
Far East Asians in general conduct business as we in the west typically conduct war. Trump is our first President who realizes that and stopped the bleeding. Then, surprise, surprise. Their NK dictator pit bull told Trump he was sending him a present at the end of 2019.
Here is the opening home page of the company selling the UV-C disinfecting product linked in #181.
Be careful with these UV light companies.
A LOT of them have just recently popped up on the web, since COVID.
I suggest digging deep, for reviews/info on the company, before purchasing.
Another, similar company that I saw, had an identical product, for only $79.00.
It was exposed - in reviews - to be only 3 months old and to have virtually no customer service.
I’m not recommending anything and posted this only for comments. I also looked to see if there is a parent company we might have heard of. But I think it is true that UV lights have been used for sterilization and it would be good to learn of some reputable seller with a good product.
Maybe someone knows of such.
India is an interesting case. They are not seeing an increase in hospitalizations, deaths, burials, etc, so it doesn’t appear to be just a lack of testing. If it is related to the BCG TB vaccine, this site is interesting:
Note that the USA and Europe, where the highest infection and death rates have been, do not widely vaccinate for TB. Look at Portugal with a BCG vaccine vs their neighbor Spain, that discontinued BCG vaccines 40 years ago. Portugul has less than 1/5 the deaths per capita of Spain.
I’m not saying I believe there is a link, but it’s a hypothesis with a lot of circumstantial evidence. But there are countries like Germany and Denmark that don’t fit in this puzzle.
That’s cool about the bus sterilizers.
NYC could use some of those.
Drink more orange juice!
Thanks for some factual information.
Trump as usual was light years ahead of the dead end progressives. Lol.

My guess is that President Trump heard about these sorts of treatments with light being used internally in the course of meetings re: COVID-19. It was probably brought up as a one-off. He then was thinking out loud at the press conference (not the best place to do that sort of thinking).
What I don’t understand is apparently why NO medical “experts” who he is working with on COVID-19 did not bring out that light has been used *internally* for treatment for YEARS! The same with whole lung lavage.
It’s as if they just hung him out there to twist in the wind.
And then he (in my view) walked back his statements.
Maybe because you’ll be quarantining the only ones who have stayed healthy, along with possible spreaders forced to move in with them?
What’s that word I’m looking for? “Counterproducive”?
Nuts?
Evil?
if they’re spreaders, they’re not ‘healthy’; they’re infected
Could a New Ultraviolet Technology Fight the Spread of Coronavirus?
And there are a lot of UV-C lights being advertised, and while they mention Covid-19, they don't specifically say that their products will definitely kill Covid-18.
And this from your quote from the CDC.
The application of UV radiation in the health-care environment (i.e., operating rooms, isolation rooms, and biologic safety cabinets) is limited to destruction of airborne organisms or inactivation of microorganisms on surfaces.
That's just what many consumers are looking for, IF it will kill Covid-19. I think that is still to be answered in the near future. It also sounds like not a great deal of testing has been done to determine what will, or will not kill it.
more from Europe I’d think. Specifically, Germany, France, Spain and Italy
There’s no money in that, that’s why.
They’re all invested in the upcoming mandatory vaccine.
At (conservatively speaking) $50/shot, what’s the take for vaccinating the US?
Is $15B indemnified guaranteed payoff worth that?
If it’s like the flu, it’ll easily be that much every year from here on out.
Don’t get vaxed? No bank account, no drivers license, no medical care, you name it.
That’s why none of these ‘non vaccine’ treatments will ever ‘work’.
Oh stopped listening to Trump. He is awesome with amazing stamina, but three hours every day is bit much. Beside NK military may be activating.
But the left progressos aligned to the deep state do appear to be acting extremely ideological. Trying to claim a 70 year old treatment for malaria is dangerous. Despite the Who itself publishing extensive review of the drug and finding no sudden deaths. They simply cannot stand Trump speaking freely and openly to them. Only their msm outlets and their compromised scientific journals are all that matter.
“More infected means lower death ratio, yes?”
If you assume that all have passed the threshold to active status and then resolved. Who knows how they are counting? But guaranteed most of those cases have not yet resolved, and if Brazil’s HCS collapses, you get a huge spike in deaths, both direct and indirect. But in general, more infected means more dead in direct proportion. Again, there is no vast hidden herd of already infected that somehow survived and gained immunity without being detected.
In a situation where the testing and HCS are saturated - like Brazil - you can ballpark the case count by assuming that only the serious and critical cases are being officially reported and that there are another 4x mild and asymptomatic, and then if there is community spread (usually these things go together) another 3 cohorts (based on R0 of virus) of the same size incubating. Altogether you get 20x the reported cases as your upper limit for infected - with a lot, 75%, of the cases TBD as far as severity goes.
That’s in a saturated situation. If testing is keeping up or catching up and you have contact tracing going on, and people practice aggressive social distancing, that reduces the multiplier, possibly by a large amount. But overall, 2% or more of the cases will be fatal. Barring a miracle cure.
