Our account and its accompanying gallery of private pilot Gabriel Zeifman's somewhat astonishing flight through the usually highly restricted Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), which includes shadowy bases like Area 51 and Tonopah Test Range Airport, and the Nevada Test Site, where hundreds of nuclear weapons were tested, drew fascination from readers all over the globe.
Now Gabriel has shared additional images of his adventures over the NTTR that are pretty spectacular in their own right and they include the best photos I have seen of a very popular location in UFO lore, Papoose Lake. Located just to the southwest of Area 51, this is the place where Bob Lazar claims of having reversed engineered flying saucers in the 1980s while working inside a camouflaged facility called S-4 that was built into the side of a mountain.

Years ago there was a guy who called into Art Bell and said he was flying into Area 51 to see what was going on...
It was great theater.....
Any of the Bob Lazar interviews were very interesting...
God bless you.
Thanks for the post
Fascinating post. Thanks.
A good liar would be careful about including too many details because it is so easy to walk into a trap of your own inadvertent design.
Lazar was/is a nut job. He lied about his education and his work history. Some think he was a .gov disinfo agent.

Art Bell’s show was great to listen to late at night. “From the high Desert, and the great American Southwest”
It may be true, from what I’ve seen is a few of his claims have turned out to be true...
He disclosed that some of the alien aircraft testing was done at Papoose Lake which up to that time was unknown supposedly.
I am not a chemist but supposedly he made claims about Element 115 which was not known at the time.
He could be a total nut job, but he’s interesting to watch in the interviews.
He does make a point that I agree with, if they really are testing alien spacecraft at Area 51 or somewhere else being able to reverse engineer it might be impossible for decades or more....
Think about it, if somehow we took a jet fight, nuclear reactor or modern laptop computer back to the 1750s the scientists then would have been baffled for years and years....

Bell never really worried me, he was making a buck and providing a platform.
HOWEVER, he did have an assortment of kooks that he did allow to vent..
Now, THEM - I worried about....<: <: <:
Just enough info to make it seem real.
BTW, I live in Nevada and follow Area 51 events casually. I have known about Papoose Lake for well over 30 years as have most serious A51 followers. There is actually a lot of local knowledge about A51, the locals just don’t share with outsiders because they don’t want to get mobbed by the groupies.
Art Bell lives on
Area 51, Art Bell, Bob Lazar... I’m having a 1980s-90s flashback.
I knew the mushrooms on that pizza last night were strange.
Thanks for a non-virus thread.
Area 51 is the number assigned to the airspace over Groom Lake, the base on the ground.
People should know better.
You enter Area 51 airspace you get locked up somewhere for a few weeks while they interview you. Same if you penetrate Groom Lakes ground perimeter.
Ive flown Red Flag and a military air crew accidentally entered the airspace, were met at Nellis by guys in suites, were put in a van with no windows and were driven for a couple hours, got out in an under ground garage, questioned for a few hours, put in a room with bed and bath and were isolated for gawd knows how long. Then back in the van and then were delivered back to Nellis.
Obviously part of the government’s disinformation coverup. They are only showing what they want you to see.
I had just gotten back from Korea and was with 3/5 Cav at Ft Lewis for about two weeks. We went to Nellis for Red Flag. I was an E-5 at the time and was put in charge of the Forward Area Arming Refueling Point for the night. The FAARP was somewhere in Tonopah range, about an hour and change by Blackhawk. A little after arriving, a civilian security guard came to look at our badges. Mine wasn’t on his list. Into the truck and an hour drive to some shack. I was there for a couple of hours until someone at Langley verified who I was. Another hour back to the FAARP only to find my PFC and SP4 digging a foxhole inside the tent. But that’s another story.
Sounds about right. Wonderful time in the desert. . .hah!
Reminds me (a bit) of The Disappearance of Flight 412 (1974)
Some USAF guys monitoring a flight see a aircraft chasing something disappear and are brought to a remote installation for "debriefing".
You can clearly see the alien spacecraft by one of the buildings if you squint a bit.
Not if you clean your screen first.
