A Los Angeles doctor praised using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 during an interview with a local news station on Sunday, claiming that it has a dramatic effect on patients who are seriously ill when combined with zinc.
Dr. Anthony Cardillo, CEO of Mend Urgent Care, made the remarks during an interview with ABC 7 news anchor Jory Rand.
“What we’re finding clinically with our patients is that it really only works in conjunction with zinc. So the hydroxychloroquine opens the zinc channel, zinc goes into the cell, it then blocks the replication of the cellular machinery,” Cardillo said. “So, it has to be used in conjunction with zinc. We are seeing some clinical responses in that regard. There are people that take it regularly for other disease processes, we have to be cautious and mindful that we don’t prescribe for patients who have COVID that are well. It really should be reserved for people that are really sick, in the hospital, or at home very sick that need that medication, otherwise we’re going to blow through our supply for the patients that take it regularly for other disease processes.”
“Every patient I’ve prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8-12 hours they were basically symptom free and so, clinically I am seeing a resolution that mirrors what we saw in the French study and some of the other studies worldwide,” Cardillo continued. “But what I am seeing is that people that are taking it alone, by itself, it’s not having efficacy.”

ECGC and Quercetin have weaker, but similar effects to, that of Hydroxychloroquine. Those, with zinc, could be of great help.
I think this whole thing amounts to Big Pharm wants to create a new drug to counter this as there is billions to be made and they don’t want some old, cheap drug to be used and cut them out of the dough.
President Trump needs to have one of these doctors speak at the task force press conferences.

So, what I’ve see so far are:
1) An Infectious disease specialist from France, Dr. Didier Raoult successfully using it on over a 100 patients and PUBLISHING the results in two separate papers.
2) A Jewish Doctor, Dr.Vladimir Zelenko taking it prophylactically for himself and successfully treating over 800 patients with it in upstate New York with outstanding results.
3) A New Jersey Doctor Stephen Smith using it successfully on his many patients in his clinic saying: ‘I think this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic’
4) A Long Island Doctor, Dr. Mohammud Alam, an infectious disease specialist affiliated with Plainview Hospital, who said 81 percent of infected Covid patients he treated at three Long Island nursing homes recovered from the contagion.

NOTE: THESE ARE ELDERLY PATIENTS, the ones who have the worst mortality rates.

“Controversial” Drug, “Unproven” drug, “No evidence that it works”, etc.
Who are we to believe? These doctors or the media headlines?
Toss in the antibiotic azithromycin and it’s a winning trifecta treatment per all reports. This treatment is not a fancy new expensive “designer cure” but it works from all reports, and works quite well, nevertheless. For mere pennies, too.

I believe there is a link between zinc deficiency and more severe cases of Wubonic Plague...1. Zinc deficiency decreases as we age
2. Those with: cancer, diabetes, alcohol issues are more likely to have zinc deficiency
3. Those on an ACE inhibitor (often heart patients) are more likely to be zinc deficient.
4. And people withe type A blood are more likely to be zinc and magnesium deficient than other blood types.
Must be getting a kick back from all the money PDJT is making off of pushing hyroxychloroquine huh? LOL! The ‘urinalists’ at the press briefings are really getting stoopider and stoopider.
I have ECGC (expensive) and Quercetin Bromalian and Quercetin Phytosome and Zinc Picolinate for this purpose if I can’t get Trump’s miracle drug

Amen. Big Pharma and their make-work-program-for-lawyers cohorts at The FDA won't endorse Hydroxy until they come up with a version that has a list of side effects a mile long that lawyers can sue the manufacturers over.

Unfortunately I have to agree somewhat just like the pharmaceutical companies had to come out with a prescription fish oil supplement because people were taking over the counter fish oil which was perfectly fine.

i think you might have a point; hence President Trump is being sand-bagged with the phony NYC “trial” that apparently will take months to complete ... in the mean time, FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn waxes poetic about the plasmapheresis antibody treatment which is not scalable and which will probably cost ten thousand dollars a dose ...
