All states with big cities.
At 11:45am PST
Bingo.
High Density living that the DNC pushes.
You need to add the population to each of those. AND you have to do all states. You’re looking for cases per population.
Two weeks ago, the Ohio Gov assured us Ohio had at least 100,000 cases roaming around. Two weeks later, only 19 total have died in Ohio.
Should we assume the death rate is 0.019%?
Or should we assume the Gov of Ohio was, is and ever shall be an IDIOT?!
It's now over 1.1%. Compared to the flu of 0.1%.
Dr. Fouci continues to be right in his Mar 11 statement. His previous Feb 26 comments that were wrongly portrayed today as an admission of error not withstanding.

I pFYI - I pulled down the Confirmed Case data used by JH that is housed on GitHub and then pulled in the population counts by country (and state) from the UN (yea, I know...work with me). In the table, I list select countries and US states’ Confirmed Case Counts. I then ‘standarize’ that data by dividing each nation or state’s Confirmed Case Count by the respective population, then I multiply that standardized value by the US’ population, to put each nation/state’s Confirmed Case Count on a standardized/US-centric basis.
And major Airports.
“You need to add the population to each of those. AND you have to do all states. Youre looking for cases per population.”
The link did not work for me, and I would like to see all states.
Why would you need the population? Of the State? I am not looking at cases per “population” because the “population” is completely arbitrary and cases are all over the place because of testing.
I would think we want deaths attributed by doctors to COVID-19, by States or even more localized.
That is, of course, just my opinion.
What do you mean by standardized cases?
And the pearl clutchers were saying the death rate was over 5%....
So, if we were to believe those that say there’s 100,000 more people out there with COVID 19 (Ohio Governor says this) then that’s 196,968 with COVID 19. At that number the death rate is .07%...very close to the .06%.
The important thing to our domestic enemies is to leverage this against Trump and America, no matter what the cost.
They’ve pretty much succeeded, and have LOTS of knee-jerk support here.
Reminds me of the old joke...
A Statistician, and economist and an Accountant crashed at sea.
The Statistician calculated the odds of survival and sank immediately.
The Accountant recalculated the distance to shore until it was short enough for him to swim.
And the Economist assumed he had a life boat.
There are all 50 states at the site and a handy toggle button that shows how many new cases/deaths were in the prior 24h (in other words today new vs yesterday new).
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/
NY Yesterday
New Cases +6,011
New Deaths +100
NJ
New Cases +2,474
New Deaths +19
Today as of 3:30p
NY
New Cases +5,658
New Deaths +53
NJ
New Cases +1,949
New Deaths + 27
First, there is no way to know the Death Rate, since we don’t know how many people have had the virus, and recovered, without reporting it. Therefore, the denominator is unknown.
Second, I would like to know the number of deaths of people with NO pre-existing conditions. There are unconfirmed reports that that number is close to zero.
Yeah, todays data is still flowing in. To get a complete 24 hours you have to look at yesterday. Go to USA, then go to the bottom. There is a graph of # new deaths.
