Two weeks ago, the Ohio Gov assured us Ohio had at least 100,000 cases roaming around. Two weeks later, only 19 total have died in Ohio.
Should we assume the death rate is 0.019%?
Or should we assume the Gov of Ohio was, is and ever shall be an IDIOT?!

Good point. Still, there were 200+ new cases in one day, and if that continues, or rises, the percentage would go up. But you'd have to have more than 200 new cases per day for over a year to get to 100,000, and the incubation period is believed to be from 6 to 24 days (14 days is usually given). It looks like the governors claim of 100,000 cases could turn into 4,000 - 8,000 actual cases in the relevant time frame.
