Good point. Still, there were 200+ new cases in one day, and if that continues, or rises, the percentage would go up. But you'd have to have more than 200 new cases per day for over a year to get to 100,000, and the incubation period is believed to be from 6 to 24 days (14 days is usually given). It looks like the governors claim of 100,000 cases could turn into 4,000 - 8,000 actual cases in the relevant time frame.

First, there is no way to know the Death Rate, since we don’t know how many people have had the virus, and recovered, without reporting it. Therefore, the denominator is unknown.
Second, I would like to know the number of deaths of people with NO pre-existing conditions. There are unconfirmed reports that that number is close to zero.
