A report on my trip to the local Save Mart in Modesto, CA:
1. Produce, deli and baked goods abundant. Fresh.
2. Plenty of meat, but beef very, very low. Chicken and Pork abundant.
3. Plenty of canned goods but they go nearly as fast as they can be stocked.
4. Liquor, wine and beer abundant. Bottled water limited.
5. Paper goods sold out. Not even Kleenex. Nothing.
6. Diary limited. Milk going very fast. Cheese, yogurt, butter etc. seemed well supplied.
Folks, the supply chain is catching up.
Mar-a-lago is closed.
Staff member in Pence’s office is positive. Pence to be tested.
Again, POTUS and VP should not be on the podium together and with half a dozen other people crowded on there.
I’m thinking about hanging garlic cloves around my neck to keep people away. Also — the number of people I see licking their fingers to separate plastic bags, papers, and cash...gross and stupid. Oh the humanity.
My SIL is a State Trooper.
He has been told to be very judicious in his application of the speeding rules.
Going 75 in a 65...not gonna be an issue. Going 95 in a 65 will still get you stopped.
He had to foot chase some kid the other day. That was stupid. They were not even going to search the car until the occupants took off.
So, dont rob a store, beat your wife, or drive drunk. Pretty much like every other day. You will be fine. But if you interrupt their Netflix, you will piss them off.
You know, watching Live PD on the TV always makes me wonder just how stupid people really are. I went thru our Sheriffs citizens academy years ago, and they always stressed that they catch stupid criminals, the smart ones never interact with them.
Why cant folks figure out to just do exactly what the LEO says to do? It can save your life.
I feel very bad for our LEOs. Bad pay for what they give us.
It was easy being a soldier - we didnt try to save anyone that wasnt our own. Cops have to decide who is good and who is not.
“I feel very bad for our LEOs. Bad pay for what they give us.”
Cops are very well paid in CA.
They start around $40/hr and it goes up from there.
Plus overtime. Plus full-boat medical. And retirement at 50, where they are paid at least 75% of their last 2 years pay and continue to receive free medical.
TX
Gov. Abbott waiving some regulations so nursing students and retired nurses to work.
Austin Mayor Adler - lockdown of the city is on the table.
Cameron Co. (south TX, Brownsville) - breaking midnight to 5am curfew will be $1000 and jail time.
The Russkies are in a real conspiracy—with the virus!

I try to imagine every traffic stop as a potential firefight. I guess thats where I feel they are underpaid. Plus, now there is the infection issue.
Our ROEs were very liberal in comparison, decision making was far more simple back then, and over there.
Everyone would benefit from reading this entire article which illustrates the despair on the American left.
Some of them even know “it’s over”.

I lightly spit on my fingers to do it.
The guy sure was a super spreader of a pretty strong strain
Scary.
My sis said that folks are posting vids, on Nextdoor, of an *amish* hoody guy going around at 3 a.m., trying to break into cars, in her area.
Looks like the same guy, so, hopefully Sheriff’s will be able to ID him.
He’s sees the Ring or Nest (etc) cams and scrams. :)
The leftist universities and schools are going to take a big hit as well.
(Good article)
Ruining the economy is worth it if it saves one life...say those who murder tens of millions of babies, dissect them and sell their bloody parts. Sheesh!
