A report on my trip to the local Save Mart in Modesto, CA:
1. Produce, deli and baked goods abundant. Fresh.
2. Plenty of meat, but beef very, very low. Chicken and Pork abundant.
3. Plenty of canned goods but they go nearly as fast as they can be stocked.
4. Liquor, wine and beer abundant. Bottled water limited.
5. Paper goods sold out. Not even Kleenex. Nothing.
6. Diary limited. Milk going very fast. Cheese, yogurt, butter etc. seemed well supplied.

Folks, the supply chain is catching up.

TP is made in the US. That should caterpillar its way into stores soon. Other paper products as well. Haynes is making masks, now, and some domestics are making hand sanitizer (distilleries). The US makes way more food than we consume, so it won’t be the case that it’s all gone for good. May not be the gourmet meals y’all are used to, but you won’t starve.

But I’m glad I prepped when I did.
