The closest I have is a friend of mine. He’s quarantined because a co-worker is exhibiting symptoms but hasn’t been tested yet.
I do have a facebook friend who’s a member of the same Christian youth ministry as me. His cousin is in the hospital on a respirator. That’s the closest for me.
My SIL has been sick with some symptoms consistent with Covid. He has had to wait for several days to be tested due to lack of tests. We should know the result in a day or 2.
Nope! Been medically housebound since 2013!!

I know no one who has it, nor do I know anyone who knows anyone who has it.
Most of my circle believe we already had “it” in February, we all thought it was severe seasonal allergies.

A woman from my company in Texas has it. Well, she is presumably positive. She’s 32. She’s been extremely sick for about 10 days, chest pain and difficulty breathing but not hospitalized.
I’ve been feeling under the weather off and on since Tuesday night. I have a dry cough, fatigue, some muscle aches, and an intermittent low grade fever as high as 100.3. I’ve also had digestive issues and a runny nose but no sneezing or sore throat like I almost always have with a cold. I’ve never had the flu in my 66 years on this planet but I’ve had bronchitis 3-4 times in my life. I’ve been resting and self quarantining and watching out for shortness of breath, at which time I’ll seek treatment.
My son knows/knew (4 of them died so far) the family in New Jersey from college days...
Don’t know anyone infected.
I heard two cases in my city.
“I think I had it in November after visiting Hawaii.”
“I believe that November is when the virus first appeared in China. “
Sources tell me that Nov. 17th was when China identified the first case, but who knows how long it was in the wild prior.
“When the infected and dead are more than the rhino virus let me know so I can be concerned. If not thank you for ruining the US economy.”
Don’t sweat it, that will be in about 3 weeks if we don’t lockdown.

Grandson in Florida has it. He is a paramedic and was exposed transporting someone. He is a presumptive case as he doesn’t meet the criteria to be tested.(Young, no underlying conditions???)His boss has been all over the hospitals trying to get him tested. He is self isolating at home.

I know someone in Los Angeles whose employer emailed all staff that an unidentified infectee had ridden the same elevator at some point in the previous week & had visited an unspecified office somewhere in the 17 storey building.
But, there’s no need to panic, the email said.

One of the women on my staff has an adult son (late 20’s) that works in a hospital in Pittsburgh. He recently tested positive. She’s not seen him in person since Christmas, so she’s safe.
She described him as the healthiest, most fit person she knows. Meh is so far asymptotic.
Thanks! I’m sure it’s nothing. But my hypochondriac DIL (whom I adore BTW) is going crazy thinking I’m gonna kill them all. Lol.
