EVERETT (CBS) — Encore Boston Harbor is taking new steps in response to the coronavirus. The Everett hotel and casino has announced it will soon start taking the temperature of people coming through its doors who might be sick.
“We will soon begin temperature screening guests and employees entering our resort,” Encore said in a statement.
The casino later clarified that it will be taking the temperatures of guests “who are exhibiting symptoms of illness – coughing, sneezing, sweating, etc.”

After ObamaCare, healthcare is a roll of the dice.
It’s a deterrent.
I wish Walmart would do it. I was in one tonight and I couldn’t belive the number of people in the store who were coughing their heads off. And not a single one covered their cough. We just said screw it, got what we had and bugged.
What could possibly go wrong?

If Massachusetts really wants to stop the spread by potential carriers the MBTA trains and buses should be halted for awhile.
Those things are packed with coughing, hacking people all day long.
- and the first MBTA employee who comes down with the virus is going to ensure a mass exodus from the transit system anyway.
