Katie Couric has opted to voluntarily self-quarantine, after she spent time with the head of New York Port Authority just before he was diagnosed with coronavirus.
Bowing to overwhelming pressure from her Twitter followers, the journalist announced the decision, an hour after first saying she would not be staying home.
'Just talked to a @CDCgov official who said I'm very low risk given the duration and nature of contact#,' she reassured followers.
She then added: 'I will be working from home to be safe and make sure if I'm not feeling well I will go to the doctor. Will keep you posted.'

BTW, the Perkster is a salaried employee. 14 days off is essentially a vacation. And a perfect excuse to make others do the shopping, the cooking, the cleaning. She can take showers as often as she wants and nobody can complain.

Mrs. Child has to have her initial consultation on cataract surgery tomorrow. When they called us to confirm the appointment they asked if she had any symptoms of cold or flu. I said no she does not, however I am on the better side of a mild cold. I told a woman that I had no intention of stepping in their office, that I would sit outside for the several hours that all of it would take. That’s because I’m not an idiot Democrat.
