Katie Couric has opted to voluntarily self-quarantine, after she spent time with the head of New York Port Authority just before he was diagnosed with coronavirus.
Bowing to overwhelming pressure from her Twitter followers, the journalist announced the decision, an hour after first saying she would not be staying home.
'Just talked to a @CDCgov official who said I'm very low risk given the duration and nature of contact#,' she reassured followers.
She then added: 'I will be working from home to be safe and make sure if I'm not feeling well I will go to the doctor. Will keep you posted.'

She’s too important to stay home, guaranteed.
She’ll disguise herself or get around it somehow.
(”Well I am home! They didn’t say which of my homes I have to stay at!”)
Oh no..please go back to the studio Katie.
I cannot stand this vile, overpaid woman; hope she does not get sick though.
Maybe Katie and those that advised her should read this
Coronavirus incubation period is just FIVE DAYS on average but scientists warn one in 100 patients will develop symptoms AFTER 14 days of quarantine
She’s on tv somewhere? Like a shopping channel?
Gross.
How did the top guy in Port Authority catch it?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Someone needs to tell the moronic left that they can catch the C-Virus over the TV . . . just like they used to get their miracles from Benny Hinn.

Rick Cotton is an old friend of mine. In fact I just saw him on Saturday for the first time in a long time. Feel better Rick. via

NEW | Rick Cotton, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, has tested positive for the coronavirus, Gov. Cuomo announced.
Hes been at the airports, obviously, the governor said at a press conference in Albany.
Here is another interesting question
Replying to
@ABC
If Rick Cotton is well enough to work from home and just go into quarantine despite testing positive, what prompted testing him for the #coronavirus?
Tons of people across the US report inability to get tested even despite exposure or symptoms.
After how that douche bag treated Sarah Palin..OK no comment
I didn’t know she was still around..shouldn’t she be retired by now?
Interestingly enough, neither Cotton nor any other official have been willing to go into any detail on that. Cuomo suggests airports.
I find it interesting that this disease managed to get to the top tier guys in Iran.
Maybe it was just sheer happenstance.
FWIW, we only have Iran’s word for that.
Trust but verify. :-)
I dont know who she works for but I doubt it was twitter that forced her to change her mind.
The people she works with probably did a lot of threatening to the bosses.
