I wouldn't be surprised if my daughter had it, and she's in Philadelphia. The president of the organization where she works came back from China in January with a very bad cold; shortly thereafter she came down with what she called the flu, that laid her up for about a week. In my opinion it's all over the place.

Perhaps whooping cough? That's reared its ugly head again. Just did a search, and Laredo, Texas, North Carolina, and Minnesota have reported new cases within the past few days. There may be other areas. I stopped looking at the search results after I found three different States.
