This is the funniest thing I have seen today. A few days ago someone here told me I needed to get a cat for my chipmunk problem

I'll say.

I'm still laughing at it with an evil chuckle

Cats will be cats.

I wonder how that old man felt at the end. So sorry, I didn’t see that as funny at all. And yes, I do have a sense of humor.

To each his own, I suppose.

The chipmunk reminds me of Nancy Pelosi. The cat? Donald Trump of course.

I have no use for squirrels or chipmunks. Destructive creatures that I can’t get rid.

I agree, especially the squirrels!

It may be nature but it isn’t funny at all. My cats would toy with bunnies and I ended up having to drown one that had been disemboweled. The cat wasn’t interested in eating it, just torturing it, as is a cat’s way to practice hunting. The screams from the tiny rabbit were just horrible.

I am in the market for a new car. I am trying to make sure they don’t use soy products for wiring.

A lot of people have trouble with rodents..which includes squirrels and chipmunks...chewing through them

Although there might be some use for them. SOmeone said if you need to get rid of a stump in the woods drill holes and put peanuts in it..or something like that. I need to investigate it.

Maybe. But I have no problem with cats killing squirrels and chipmunks.

I didn’t think it was funny, either. But I wonder if that was a stray cat, or the family’s own cat.

If it was their cat, they should have locked it up - unless this was all staged. I don’t think a feral cat would come that close to humans, even with prey in sight.

My cats wouldn’t know what to do with anything bigger than a mouse. They’re afraid of my pigeons.

Not funny at all. This was obviously a baby squirrel the man had rescued, maybe even bottle fed, and he was releasing it to live its life. Only to get killed by a cat who should never have been outside. I’d be very upset, too.

No, because it is part of the post. It’s nature taking it’s course. And what someone advised me to get ...a cat...to deal with the horrible chipmunk and squirrel problem that I have..

but you just can’t get rid of the current batch. they leave a scent that for years and years...that you have to combat that draws more to do even more damage.

How come chipmunks poop all over the place but squirrels don’t?

> I have no use for squirrels or chipmunks. <

I agree 100%. They are rodents on the same level as mice. My objection to the video was based on my feelings for the kind old man. He obviously cared about that squirrel, and probably nursed him back to heath. Then to see that.

Now, had this just been a video of a cat taking a squirrel...that would have been okay with me. Because that’s how nature works.
