A Trump paraphernalia store recently opened up here in Bellingham, MA (about 45 minutes SW of Boston), so I decided to check it out.
They had all kinds of really cool Trump stuff, and I bought a Trump 2020 magnetic bumper sticker. I did have concerns about getting my car keyed (I drive a leased car). But I figured I'd take a chance.
I live in an apartment complex, went outside to the complex parking lot the next morning, it had already been STOLEN! (There are to other cars in that lot with anti-Trump stickers displayed for the last two years or so).
Anyway, I'm just curious - have any of my fellow Freepers had any sort of experience where displaying or wearing Trump paraphernalia resulted in theft, vandalism, being verbally accosted or worse - physically assaulted?
If so, please share your experience, and if you're not too shy, mention in which state you are located.
Thanks.

Cocoa, Rockledge, Titusville? :-)
I live in southeast Virginia, country life. No one says sh*t around here. Crap, there are some that still run around with Confederate flags blowing in the wind. I love living in the country, frak urban tardville life.
We ate at a restaurant last year and the flaming gay waiter had a Trump badge with a X over it. Pretty much everyone there was far left liberal.

I like to think of myself as a “Make my day” kind of guy. I was considering wearing Trump gear so that the punks would try to attack me, trolling for thugs. But I keep forgetting, I’m not a well conditioned 35 year old any more...that was 40 years ago! Since I probably couldn’t beat ‘em I’d have to kill ‘em. Then I’d be in prison. Oh, well... (sigh)
I drive by a spot on my way to work on a small two lane highway. There’s always a guy in a pickup truck set up at one of the roadside stores with tons of Trump stuff for sale. He sets up a couple 8 foot folding tables also. I always give him a thumbs up. I haven’t owned any Trump memorabilia but think I’ll stop and buy a thing or two from this guy one morning.
We are in a pretty strong Pro-trump county so he probably doesn’t get harassed too much.
Nice idear!

“I dont need to get assaulted in the liberal city I live in and have my life ruined or ended over a cap or a pin.”
I wore my MAGA hat when we stayed in ultra liberal downtown DC for a week and got a few bad stares and that was it. Actually got some “yes Trump” thumbs up.
LMAO!
What if my luck runs out i the 4th or 6th week? :(
I’m no coward.
Well maybe a little lol
I could wear a hat or pin on the south shore of Staten Island easily enough.
But i’m not putting anything on my Challenger!!
i assume that you never went back, and told all your FRiends, neighbors, business associates and casual acquaintances about the place?
I had TRUMP 45 Vanity License Plates on my Car for two years when we lived in S. Orange County CA. Nobody touched my Car.
Had one guy scream at me when I was gassing up at Costco. A few people flipped me off but a whole bunch of people loved the Plates. People would wait for me to come out of the Grocery Store to talk to me about them. LOL
I still have them, might put them on EBay.
Old stompin’ grounds.
THAT I can wear :)
I love it.
