A Trump paraphernalia store recently opened up here in Bellingham, MA (about 45 minutes SW of Boston), so I decided to check it out.
They had all kinds of really cool Trump stuff, and I bought a Trump 2020 magnetic bumper sticker. I did have concerns about getting my car keyed (I drive a leased car). But I figured I'd take a chance.
I live in an apartment complex, went outside to the complex parking lot the next morning, it had already been STOLEN! (There are to other cars in that lot with anti-Trump stickers displayed for the last two years or so).
Anyway, I'm just curious - have any of my fellow Freepers had any sort of experience where displaying or wearing Trump paraphernalia resulted in theft, vandalism, being verbally accosted or worse - physically assaulted?
If so, please share your experience, and if you're not too shy, mention in which state you are located.

We never wear anything Trump related into a restaurant ever. Don’t want spit or worse in our food.
We ate at a restaurant last year and the flaming gay waiter had a Trump badge with a X over it. Pretty much everyone there was far left liberal.

Not yet. I have the MAGA sticker on one of my trucks and I mostly drive it to cafes or places where I eat and see the truck at the same time. God knows how many aholes stare at it...then look around until they see me staring back waiting for a “dumb” move.

I've seen incidents of folks getting grief for posting vanities as news.
Only wear the MAGA hat among friendlies, I have seen it trigger people. Wore it into the dry cleaners once and the proprietor looked nervous, like I was from ICE.
I live in a Big Ten university town in Pennsylvania (probably gives it away). I have a Trump 2020 bumpersticker. Only one comment so far and that was, “where can I get one?”
I was jogging in my neighborhood (Brevard County, Florida)with one of those “Impeach This” t-shirts (the one with the color coded US map on areas won by President Trump vs NON-President Billary). An SUV drove by me, stopped and turned around...then went to the next street and sat at the stop sign watching me. I just stared back and they drove off. Other than that, no issues, but my wife won’t let me wear any Trump gear in public - she fears for my safety. I told her not to worry since I always carry concealed (yes, even while jogging).

I know who I’m supporting. I don’t care to broadcast it.
I don’t need to get assaulted in the liberal city I live in and have my life ruined or ended over a cap or a pin.
Is it fair that I should have to be concerned? No.

I grew up in that town. Lived on a street just south of downtown near St. Blaze Catholic Church.
I don’t care, that there is funny! Ha.
A year ago, Mrs. R2 and I took a two week vacation to Colorado. I wore my MAGA hat all the time. To my surprise - no one “accosted” me.
But two things.....
1. We were riding the steam locomotives. Durango & Silverton, Cumbres and Toltec, and others. Mostly older white folks from out of state like me.
2. I knew better than to wear it in restaurants. Did not want to ingest liberal saliva.
