Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.

Q-1009, for instance lists both Manafort and Page.
Personally, I could see them in different lights. Manafort had lots of real baggage and is getting slammed by the criminal justice system, never meaning to harm Trump; whereas, Page is just a Brennan spook--a knowing part of the coup d'etat--and nothing happens to him.

One of the attempts (perhaps both) had the smell of MKUltra , was attempted by "Squeaky" Fromme of the Manson clan.

It’s called Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), often referred to as Narcissistic Personality Disorder in the case of males. (Yeah ... the terminology is sexist.)
This is characterized by the immature psychological defense mechanism known as “Splitting”, which means always seeing people as all-good or all-evil ... either over-idealized or demonized ... and having a tendency to flip instantaneously between these extremes.
The psychiatric textbooks list Glenn Close’s portrayal in Fatal Attraction as spot-on for BPD, the way she first over-idealized Michael Douglas and his life, and then tried to kill them.

The alleged backstory in addition, was that Derps wanted Nixon to appoint Rockefeller to replace Agnew. Nixon thought he should be in charge of that and named Ford. Hence the take down of Nixon.
So I would not be surprised to learn that was a reason for the assassination attempts.
