WTNH) — One of the UConn students charged with saying a racial slur outside campus housing will be in court on Thursday.

21-year-old Ryan Mucaj is expected to enter a plea. Mucaj and 21-year-old Jarred Karal were arrested after that video surfaced of them yelled that slur.
They’re both charged with racial ridicule for the October incident. The pair could face up to 30 days in prison.
Ummm....is free speech dead in this land of the free home of the brave? When did that happen?
What slur?
I am very uncomfortable with any government (especially a naturally corrupt Democrat run one) regulating speech.
I really do not have a solution on how to handle someone who spews racial insults, but perhaps one could have accidentally looked the other way while the insulted person lands a perfectly placed punch on the perp.
He should just claim he was quoting his favorite hip-hop “song”.
So Rappers can talk about killing police and and minorities can say just about anything they want about white folks and that is freedom of speech but don’t ever say anything bad about them.
This is going to be throw out in state or federal court.

“racial ridicule” - seriously?
The most blatant racial ridicule is affirmative action, followed by social promotion in education and “The Maury Show” (in that order).
Free speech is dead, and as people switch from verbal communication to electronic it is being killed there as well.

A government official ( the prosecutor) violating the civil rights of this individual exercising his constitutional right to speak freely. It is absolutely necessary to individually sue this prosecutor in Federal court for violating this student’s civil rights and seek substantial damages. Nazis could not hide behind their vile laws, neither should Democrats be shielded. They must be held accountable.
I think I need a lesson from June Cleaver on how to speak jive so I can become an accomplished street poet like the previous artist.

Anyone arrested for racial ridicule of white, anyone, Bueller?
I also love these videos that make it to social media where the loons on the left call for doxing and DEATH in some cases over words said during a fight or heated argument that only show the person saying a so-called slur. You never see anything leading up to it by the poor victim. Another way to spin a hate-crime hoax.
This is utter bs but this is the left for you.
