I’ve had AMD for several years.
Kevin O’Leary is probably the LEAST enthusiastic investor among the Shark Tank judges. I seldom see him agree to invest in most of the business ventures proposed by the presenters. He is also one of the most critical.
Never really liked O’Leary, Sort of Canada’s Jim Cramer. Total shill and phony pumping up stocks for his own benefit.
He gets it done.
He cannot be responsible for what other countries do...like Iran, NK, Afghanistan, Turkey....But he can do what he thinks best at any given point in time.
Kevin did a nice job...it’s in terms we can all understand.
AMD's had a great run, and of course, like any stock, some ups and downs; they've taken aim at the high-end server market, and may manage to peel away 10 percent of it (and it's still growing). But basically, it would be hard to lose much money when the market is like this. The best stocks to avoid are typically the ones I own. ;^) Same goes for the checkout line at the store -- never get behind me, I have a knack for picking the one that suddenly slows down to crawl.
I think that's a good thing. :^) Hardnosed, good head on his shoulders, doesn't rush in, and, best of all, isn't Mark Cubsn.
