I’ve had AMD for several years.
AMD's had a great run, and of course, like any stock, some ups and downs; they've taken aim at the high-end server market, and may manage to peel away 10 percent of it (and it's still growing). But basically, it would be hard to lose much money when the market is like this. The best stocks to avoid are typically the ones I own. ;^) Same goes for the checkout line at the store -- never get behind me, I have a knack for picking the one that suddenly slows down to crawl.
