Hannity sure likes that phrase
The difference is, Mark knows what the words mean and Hannity just likes the sound of them.
Don’t mock allies.
Excellent analysis.
agreed...
Sean’s OK, but he doesn’t go a day without “besmirch”...
Yes, I’m hearing a lot more bifurcate than congenital.
Our favorite is “bleachbit”.
Good one. “Bifurcated” is his new, favorite word.
I look forward to his 1,000th repetition of it.
Which in true Hannity fashion should arrive by this Friday.
“Or when he interrupts his guests.”
I’ve noticed that both Lindsey Graham and Alan Dershowitz have figured out how to fight back and derail Hannity’s interruption attempts. Impressive.
“And honestly, “congenital” as he is using it, really does not apply”
Glad someone else noticed.
You wonder if his staff ever tries to correct him.
I bet they do, but he interrupts them every time they try.

I agree. And keeping Hannity on focus is like herding cats.
I used to listen to Sean, and watch his show, but I can’t get past his theme “Comin’ to Your City”. Fingernails on a chalkboard. My God, what a horrible song. And no, I don’t want a little bang in my ying yang come along. Gawd, what an awful ditty.
All of his themes get old, but this one sucked from day one!
I’m getting to where I listen just to see how he will derail a guest who’s about to make an important point.
agree-he is one of the good guys that they not been able to take down
Hannitys same monologue has been in a continuous loop for three years.
“Congenital liar” is a term that was used by columnist Bill Safire of the New York Times. That was back when the Times actually had a conservative columnist. Safire called Hillary Clinton a “congenital liar” very early in her Washington career, in Bill Clintons first term, January 8th of 1996. This was back when she was merely a first lady, who had never held political office. Even as First Lady, she went from scandal to scandal. Her only job was to clap gently, read to children and tear up at state funerals. But somehow, she was the source of every White House scandal.
For Safire, “Congenital” meant that it was in her nature to lie. Like a rabbit is a congenital runner or an ape is a congenital tree climber. Back when Safire wrote this column it was a huge deal. Nobody took it lightly. And for a First Lady to be called a congenital liar was a shock. But Safire was ready to back himself up. In those days, news came with supporting facts, right in the news article. He listed three events Travelgate, Hillary’s miraculous $100,000 cattle futures trade and, the suicide of Vincent Foster. In each case Safire recounted multiple Hillary lies.
If anyone wants to know why Hillary lost the election, its because many of us can remember 1996. For those who can’t, you should Google Safire’s famous column, Blizzard of Lies.
So true. The caped pee wee wants to be a cowboy. Once every couple of weeks is all I can take.
Well, it’s a change. I was getting really, really tired of “bought and paid for”.
