I received word from 2ndDivisionVet wife that he passed away.

I am not using his real name here out of respect but, will ping his handle and his wife can if she would like.

I didn't ask what he died from but, knowing him for better than 10 years, I knew of medical conditions and a few terrible Operations he had.

He was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for his fellow Americans and the ideals that make this country so great that people the world over want to come here and be free, live in liberty and be whoever they want

If you have ever spoke with 2ndDivisionVet, you know he was quick witted and wry.

What had always amazed me about him was not just his humor but, his ability to somehow take life in stride despite all he endured and be cheerfull.

He was amazingly resourceful in scouring the web for article we might find interesting.

Yes, 2ndDivisionVet really cared about all of us and our presence in his life gave him purpose

I really wish God had let him stay but, my thoughts are more selfish than the absolute knowledge that he is in a better place.

I hope to see him again one day.

Since I been here I seen a lot of good ones go. Vet Husband and Wife, J Random FReeper, Dived We Stand United We Fall, Texas Cowboy, Several that I can't remember their names, she passed away and then he did. Another was remodeling his house and breather some mold it eventually killed him. One lived in Orlando we were discussing the Alien Gonzales kidnapping and posts about Bill Clinton got pretty hot. He was off a while and then came back on and said the the Secret Service had just paid him a visit Dante3 is one of the older guys.

The ones I mentioned, we had corresponded versus posting to. We exchanged to some extent personal information. To me it was nice back then.

I believe Wardaddy remembers Sinkspur.

I’ll put in a mention for BlackElk, who passed away not so long ago. Strident and proud Catholic pro-lifer and attorney who represented pro-life protesters pro bono. That was a hard loss for me on here. Impossible shoes to fill.
