The eGOP doesn't represent me any more and the username is starting to embarrass me. Is there a way I can change my username?
I probably have a name that is even more embarrassing at times, because I have the word CONgress in it as well as GOP. However, I will not change my name, because like it or not, the only option we have in the current incarnation of the United States is the Republican Party.
Technically, the word “Republican” is a constitutionally-sound name, which highlights the separation of federal control from state control, a bastion of republics so it were, with each state designated as the atomized democratic unit that defines “democracy.”
To that end, I view “GOP,” the acronym as the “Grand Old Party” not to be the Establishment (read: Deep State Lite) designation, but I wish to reclaim the true meaning and Constitutional prerogative of republicanism, embodied in the original definition of the Republican Party, aka the GOP.
In short, I’m not letting the contemporary narrative disassociating a perfectly Constitutional designation to be associated with my own views and goals, despite the criminals in many parts of the party. In addition, I agree with a Congress made of like-minded men and women, and view the representative republican form of governance to be superior to every other form of government, including Democracy, which actually is closer to Socialism than many people would like.
Anyway, that’s just me. The Republican Party is a perfectly good organization that has been bastardized, but I’m not giving up on it...because everything else will only teeter the planet to millennia-length dystopia.

Comrade...you must submit your name change request in quadruplicate only on the 27th of October of any particular year. The User Name Committee will review your request and get back to you no later than the October 26th of the following year. You must list 15 different names. The committee will choose one for you. If there are none that the committee likes in your 15 names, they may make one up on their own and assign that one to you. Please also remember to include a hundred dollar bill for each committee member (there are currently 37 members).
