Is there a way to search names to see if one is already taken?
Try putting “by:” before the handle you’re thinking of in the search box at the top right-hand corner of the forum page. If there’s a username taken (e.g. “by:eCSMaster” if I may use yours), the posts thereof should show up; if the name in question is not taken, the search ought to say “Your query returned no results”.
