Things took a disastrous turn when India’s Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft attempted to land on the Moon on September 6. As it approached the Moon’s south pole, where it had planned to land in order to confirm the presence of water ice, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) lost contact with the machine. It was presumed the machine crashed into lunar surface but after more than a month of searching, there has been no evidence of Chandrayaan-2 found

Are they sure there aren’t any NEW craters on the moon? The craft could be embedded in the moon’s surface.

The locals found it and dragged it into their underground city to determine it’s origin, and to confirm they are not alone in the vastness of space?

As bad as software is written by most Indians I have worked with, I’m personally amazed it made it to the moon before they lost contact...

Shot “out of the air” by the secret Nazi moon base at the S. pole.

Glad they tried it unmanned first. It’s hard to get to the moon. It shows how amazing NASA used to be when they were focused on legitimate science and not leftist climate change fantasy.

Great article - loved the part about “Israel’s unscrewed Beresheet spacecraft” (although I have no idea what an ‘unscrewed spacecraft’ might be ;^)...

Technically, it was designed by a bunch of H1B wannabes, and built by Americans...

re: “Are they sure there aren’t any NEW craters on the moon? The craft could be embedded in the moon’s surface.”

Seeings as the “retros” braked the speed of the lander (this is a lander, remember) as it approached the surface; how much of a ‘crater’ do you think it left?
