Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has been hospitalized after breaking his pelvis during a fall at his home in Georgia just weeks after a similar accident left him with heavy facial bruising and 14 stitches.
The 95-year-old suffered a 'minor pelvic fracture' on Monday following the incident at his home in Plains.
Carter, who is the nation's oldest living president, was admitted to the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for treatment.
A statement from The Carter Center said the former President remains in good spirits and looks forward to recovering at home.

Agreed. He was over his head as president, but no one can point to any scandal or shenanigans in his administration.
Misguided, yes. Somewhat of a nitwit, yeah. But, he was as honest a president as we’ve ever had.
And, unlike Obumagabe, he actually loves America.
I have elderly parents, one in the 80’s, one past mid-90’s. I’m caretaking them & have also been a caretaker for two others in their mid-80’s. From my personal experience/observation, once you get past 80 (for some in poor health, the 70’s), the “ledge of life” is pretty narrow and it doesn’t take much to knock an elderly person off - falls frequently start a downward, irreversible ‘slide’. My biggest concern right now, for both my parents (and one has advanced CHF), is a fall that breaks a hip and/or pelvis. I don’t think either would be able to recover, the 90+ in particular.
I cannot stand Jimmy Carter .... personally, politically, or any way in-between; however, I will not wish him ill where his health is concerned. I’ve seen too much suffering & he’s still a human being (even if a foul one in my book). God will be the final judge - I believe this & do not say it as a cliche.

It’s a tossup between the Clintons and Obama for me. There will be many no comments here when those three meet the Devil.
To think BJ Clinton is the most honorable of those three is scary...but all three will burn in hell and the world be a better place.
