Dennis Quaid is getting married again.
The 65-year-old actor confirmed to "Extra" that he proposed to his girlfriend, 26-year-old Laura Savoie, at Turtle Bay, Oahu, in Hawaii.
“I had the ring in my pocket. It has been kind of a month-and-a-half plan — I wanted it to be private,” Quaid said. “She was actually taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ And then she fell down."
"It was kind of spontaneous. It was very much a surprise," he said.
People reported that the two have been dating for several months now. Quaid was spotted with Savoie, a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas, as early as May, according to the publication.
This will be the fourth marriage for Quaid, who was previously married to real estate broker Kimberly Buffington. The two married in 2004 and are parents to 11-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe. They separated in 2016. Their divorce waBuffingtons finalized in 2018.

No need to marry her. Just enjoy the relationship, and all its benefits, because life at his age can be short. If he wants to provide for her, he can do that without marriage. Now, if he wants to father a child, then by all means get married.

That was a wise move on your part. The WEIRDS got hold of the series and drove it and the terrific character developed by Billy Bob Thornton off a cliff. I assume he had no artistic control over the content because it became a mess.

Well, according to the half plus 7 rule, the youngest age for him is 39. Not saying there’s anything to it, but it’s out there.
