Are We Close to Finding the Tomb of Queen Nefertiti in the Valley of the Kings?
YouTube ^ | July 9, 2019 | Ancient Architects

In May 2018, media outlets around the world ran the headline: “Secret Chamber Does Not Exist”, referring to the possible burial chamber of Queen Nefertiti behind the walls of the tomb of King Tutankhamun in the Valley of the King's in Egypt.

So you’ll image my surprise when this week I see that the major media outlets across the world are once again reporting that Nefertiti could be hiding behind a wall in King Tutankhamen’s tomb.

The story was ran by a number of well known publications, including The Sun, New York Post, Fox News and more, but why have Egyptologists continued to search the walls of the boy king's tomb when the results were conclusive only last year?

Well, it appears the mainstream media have gotten this all wrong. Archaeologists do believe they are closing in on the tomb of Queen Nefertiti, wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten, but not via a false wall in the tomb of the 18th Dynasty King. Watch now to learn more.

Possible unmapped chambers discovered near Tutankhamun’s tomb
Researchers have found two anomalies in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings
GARRY SHAW
9th May 2019 21:34 BST
https://www.theartnewspaper.com/news/researchers-discover-anomalies-in-egypt-s-valley-of-the-kings

> Led by Francesco Porcelli of the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, the team of researchers undertook a geophysical survey, a scientific exploration method that allows researchers to peer beneath the ground–to reveal the two subterranean anomalies. The anomalies are not connected to Tutankhamun’s tomb, Porcelli and his colleagues write in the Journal of Cultural Heritage, but they “are particularly interesting in that they do not appear to be correlated with known underground cavities”.

From the pic, looks like she could have been just too thin. They missed her. She was sideways.

Could be, but either way, people who spend their lives working with mummies are not wrapped too tight.

BTW, at the link in #4 there are some bothersome popups (well, at least one), but the download link for the PDF definitely works.

I think her body has already been found — smashed in the mouth, possibly in an act of derision.

Her tomb, though, would be a find, even if empty, because of what light it might shed on the era.

There are topics about that mummy under the keyword "kv21" I think, or try "youngerlady". Bogus though. The Egyptologist/hairdresser who allegedly plagiarized the idea had a Discovery Channel crockumentary about the whole thing, and the originator of the idea was considering a lawsuit, but the show lost money, so...

Heh, "Black Sun", Temu, the Sun of NIght in Egyptian mythology... anyway, the precis is, the third team to do the radar gig inside Tut's tomb also scanned around the vicinity in the Valley of the Kings, and turned up one unknown void, probably a tomb, and another void, which is probably natural. There is plenty of room for unknown tombs to be riddled through the cliff faces and so on. Also, Reeves (who seems to see the tomb of Nefertiti lurking everywhere) detected another pit tomb, similar in size to KV-63, but excavation has never been permitted (63 wasn't a tomb per se, as it turned out) on what may end up being KV-64.

Thank you. I do think there are some mysteries buried in the sands of that region that will rewrite our perception of human history. And I love a good mystery.
