According to GQ Magazine, new masculinity is men wearing earrings and giant dresses that resemble sleeping bags while crying.
Yes, really.

The cover shot shows the musician wearing an earring while dressed in what many people are describing as a cross between a dress and a sleeping bag.
Other images from the shoot show Pharrell crying and wearing a long leopard print coat.

According to GQ editor-in-chief Will Welch, the issue is an exploration of the ways that traditional notions of masculinity are being challenged, shifted, and overturned as part of masculinitys Shut Up and Listen moment in a pervasive culture of sexual intimidation and violence and blatant gender inequality.
This GQ cover celebrates a feminization of men, not masculinity. Real masculinity is the desire & ability to protect, the desire to lead, strength & emotional fortitude. Masculinity is NOT the chauvinistic BS media perpetuates & nor is this cover. Men dont go to war in a dress, commented Robby Starbuck.

As we document in the video below, the new definition of masculinity is not what it used to be.
::dumps fried in trash:: thanks
Earrings for men - just as for women - have come and gone throughout prehistory and history. Gowns made of bright yellow sleeping bags, not so much.
There was a meeting at work a week or so ago. A computer wizard about 19 or 20 or 21 had been charged with programming something to make a new client and our company compatible with our computers. When he was told his wizardry needed more work he teared up.
I found it utterly grotesque. It says right here the lasses in the room were put off by his display more than a little.
I don't remember the context, but there was some kind of a skit two or three decades ago about a tough neighborhood or country or some such where the men were men and so were the women.
I guess these days it's the women are women and so are the men.
I can't believe this is going to work over the long run.
Cole Porter was a bisexual Hollyweirdo..................
Probably, although I don't think he ever officially came out of the closet, so to speak.
He did write great music that appealed to heterosexuals, at least one that I know of.
Wonder what this pseudo male models get an hour for these photo sessions. Follow the money trail
That’s Pharrel, a multimillionaire singer songwriter.................
The current, yet inferior popular culture is so overrated that the “fear of missing out” has to be programmed into the psyches of consumers.
I have a feeling that the editors of GQ go out for drinks once a month and try to top each other on how outrageous the next cover story will be. They laugh uproariously for a few hours among themselves and then stagger home into the night.
Not even a liberal woman would be attracted to that.
True, there are some women who seem afraid of very masculine men and prefer soft, small, weak muscled men. There are men who are attracted to women who are kind of butchy in dress and behavior.
Most women want men who are strong enough to handle some things that she cannot or does not want to do. Most men prefer who are clean and well-groomed with a bit of makeup and maybe once a year put on a dress.
This strange definition of masculinity being men who are trying to look like women total eludes me.
Even back when I was a boy, I labeled GQ as “fashion mag for homosexual men”.
When I wanted to see what actual men might wear, I looked in Playboy (yes, I read the articles too).
Women are not interested in Pajama Boy or Tranny Boy.
We are raising up an entire generation of Girly Men with no drive or clue and a generation of hateful women who’s only desire is to tell men what to do.
Divorce lawyers are going to be very rich in 20 years.
They are very rich, now!....................
I discuss this in my red pill groups frequently. Behind GQ, Mens Health, etc, you can usually find a staff overrun by liberals and liberal women; selling you garbage like this.
Would also carry your shotgun and 2 dozen boxes of shells!
“Men dont go to war in a dress”
Except for Scots!!
...tell one of them that. LOL (of course the days of tough Scots in kilts may be long gone)
If my doctor subscribed to that magazine, I don’t think I’d let him give me a prostate exam.
The role of the man, throughout history, was to be the one who would support and protect his woman and their children. Thus, the definition of "masculine" should be guided by what characteristics would promote and advance that role.
New, yes. Masculinity, no.
