Or is it because the fantasy world in her head is crazier than Gotham City.
That should generate a lot of sales!
You’d think Madcow’s character would be called “Bat$hit.”
lol
Yvonne Craig was a total doll and cutie-pie. RIP.
Wish her the best. She is well accustomed to working in fiction...
Winner!
Haha. That would be perfect. :D
Yup. She is an expert.
>>before she is murdered on the orders Lex Luthor, who is the President of the United States at the time.
No wonder kids are screwed up and hate this country.
“because her own hard-hitting journalism”
Haha. She literally does nothing but report deep state propaganda nonstop. Whether or not she fully understands her real place in the world, the reality is that she’s little more than a mockingbird.
More left-wing garbage. This show hasn’t got a prayer.
That's a man, man!.
not that it matters. I was already disappointed with how Supergirl was making Superman look stupid.
Batgirl and Batwoman are two entirely differently characters.
Batgirl debuted in 1961 and is the alter ego of police comission James Gordon’s daughter, Barbara Gordon. She is a sidekick to Batman and a superhero-in-training.
Batwoman was introduced in 1956 and is the alter ego of Kathy Kane, and a superhero in her own right. She was originally intended to be a love interest for Batman. In 2008, DC comics “reimagined” the character as a Jewish lesbian, and this is the current crappy version that the TV series is based on.
Must miss!
Comic books were never my thing. I do enjoy a good movie. Not many of them are that good today.
We did see other adaptations of Batgirl though, mostly famously Alicia Silverstone is the otherwise wretched Batman & Robin from Joel Schumacher in 1997.
And Batwoman has been adapted previously as well, watch the direct-to-video animated film Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (2003) if you want to see a GOOD version of the character. That was before DC corrupted her and turned her into a SJW heroine.
I will not be watching this schlocky TV series, though there is a related "Crisis on Infinite Earths" storyline on Supergirl in December (apparently Batwoman will tie into it but NOT be the main focus) that sounds like its worth checking out. They literally went back and got EVERY previous incarnation of live action Batman/Superman actors to show up and play versions of themselves from "alternate universes", even going so far to get Burt Ward (from the 60s Adam West series) back as Robin, and Brandon Routh (from 2006's Superman Returns) back as Superman. Technically he is playing the "Kingdom Come Superman" but he is basically doing the Christopher Reeve version of the character again.
Wish we had gotten that in a feature film instead of a crappy "Batman vs. Superman" movie.
