EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. The U.S. Air Force is testing an improved, vegan version of the classic Cold War throwback weapon napalm, according to Air Force officials. The new weapon is expected to be able to burn the enemies of the United States to death while assuaging serious moral and environmental concerns.
Napalm is just a mix of a gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical, said Louie Fleischer, a supervisory technical support specialist with the 96th Test Wing. Historically, weve used animal-based gels. But now that the Department of Defense systemically rejects the commodity status of animals, we are testing plant-based alternatives. Theyre working out pretty well.

In war, always take the moral high ground! 😆😆😆
As long as it works, if it makes them happy...
Because the last thing you want to in a war is damage the environment... /s
Is vegan napalm anything like environmentally friendly nukes?
What we Really need is gluten free, biodegradable 223 rounds
There’s a YT video somewhere of a Russian general explaining the benefits and advantages of a new FAE (fuel-air explosive) bomb; he stated (in translation) that the explosive mixture had been reformulated in order to (among other things) be less damaging to the environment.
IIRC, he smiled just a little as he said that.
Also cholesterol free.
Smells like French fries!
Well you wouldn’t want to offend the sensibilities of any snowflakes you happen to be melting.
Palmitic acid and naphthalene.
I was hoping it only killed Vegans.
Sorry, in my day, the Air Force used meat napalm. 100% American bison, deer, beef, chicken, hog, turkey napalm.
We’ve gone very far downhill.
Don’t give up on meat napalm!
Crispy Critters!!!
Now, they use styrene, the stuff in styrofoam, (It's stickier.), which is obviously a threat to Peak Oil, and made with fracking, (By the way, I thought Peak Oil was supposed to start some years ago?), so perhaps a return to the Good Old Days is not such a bad thing.
We can make Crispy Critters without violating their dietary beliefs... It's halal, and good for Democrats.
But, will it be “Pumpkin-Spice” flavored?
If it keeps the Earth’s temperature from rising even .0000000000000000001 degrees, it’s worth it!
Well it could be if the artificial vanilla flavor is made from wood rather than beaver buttholes***.
Been waiting for a follow-up since 1973...
