This is the LAST straw. Matt Drudge's sirens and alarmist headlines promoting President Trump's impeachment is beyond sickening and pathetic! It appears Matt Drudge has now been totally co-opted by the Deep State.
If you haven't yet done so, PLEASE REMOVE "Drudgereport.com" from your web browser's default home page setting. I obviously recommend either 'FreeRepublic.com' or 'TheLibertyDaily.com' as your new default home page setting.
TheLibertyDaily.com web site is formatted similar to DrudgeReport and is actually far more informative and detailed. If you are looking for up-to-date headlines of daily news items in bullet-point format, TheLibertyDaily.com is a great replacement for Drudge.
Goodbye, Matt Drudge. Hopefully, we here at FreeRepublic can help REDUCE his daily web hits while at the same time BOOSTING FreeRepublic and TheDailyLiberty hits!
Drudge does get a bit excited with the siren induced headlines but otherwise he’s what I expect in a news source. I don’t want a organization to spoon feed me only the news tht is pleasing to my ears. nI want to know what’s going on in the world, weather or not it upsets me or aligns with my personal viewpoints. Better the hard truth than a soft lie. I want to be informed on events!
His site is just a list of links of other news sources ... seems odd to get your panties in a wad over a list of links. He blue-lights the most controversial stuff because that will generate the most hits.

I agree Red! Matt doesn’t write the news. He reports it. Articles that are negative to Trump reflect what the left is doing to smear his efforts to Keep America Great. Reading or “skimming” past the negative news allows Republicans to know what is happening on the other side without enduring the pablum of actually listening and or watching the left national news media and cable news.
Better informed with Drudge to know what we are fighting! It makes no sense to hide our heads in the sand as the left dismantles the Bill of Rights and as they use false allegations against Trump to poison all who swallow their red herring.
Also, Avoid all Google and Netflix products. And if you must use Amazon Prime, choose Judicial Watch as the charity to which a percentage of each sale goes.

Sad to hear. FreeRepublic enjoys a large role in establishing the Drudge. Matt was quite the jewel with FR back in the days of Whitewater conspiracy. Getting pretty old now but 20 plus years ago, I believe, JR started all this with a Whitewater Bullentin Board on line.

Freepers seem to have the vapors over Drudge. Drudge just links other sources and throws up the sensational headline. We need to be worried about the GOP. Drudge isn’t impeaching but the GOP ultimately will if it is up to Mittens.
To stop going to his site I would first have to go there. Haven’t in 10 years.
