So, I’ve been without my SS card for about 40years and am in the process of filling out the applicable SSA form to get a replacement card. There are 17 fields on this form which need to be filled out. However, there’s one particular field that begs the question, “why are they asking for this info?”
Field 6 is titled ETHNICITY and asks the question “Are you Hispanic or Latino? (your response is voluntary)”
What’s funny is the next field 7 is titled RACE and nowhere does it mention Hispanic or Latino. Why don’t they just eliminate field 6 and add Hispanic or Latino to field 7?
Hispanic and Latino are not races thus they are not listed in that question.
Back during the Bush I administration every federal form was changed for the planned Hispanic majority.
The Bush Plan for North Mexico is the biggest bipartisan project of Fedzilla for the past 30 years.
The illegal alien inundation was not accidental, it was intentional.
A Hispanic/Latino can be white, black, brown or (as most appear to be) a mix. H/L is a cultural thing for the most part.
I believe it started with crime statistics in NYC - black hispanic vs white hispanic. Being only hispanic kept black crime statistics low.

Then call them “Mexicans” and eliminate field 6 on the form.

If you are going to define it as a race, at least use it correctly. Hispanic Race = Spaniards

They need to differentiate the Mexicans further. There are three types of Mexicans. There are the white spanish descendants. These are the people who run the government, own the wealth, and are actors and (especially) actresses on TV. They live in gated palatial houses with concrete walls covered in broken glass. The bulk are the mestizos who are the descendants of white people from spain who indiscriminately raped indian women. These are your regular joes. And finally, there are the Indians, these are the people you find begging in the streets, as they have few rights and their children are not even allowed to sell chiclets to tourists. These are the revolutionaries in places like Chiapas

Biologically, “Latinos” are an ethnic subgroup of the Caucasian race. Democratically, they must remain a seperate race to keep them stirred up against the white man and voting democrat. Basically they don’t want Latinos to know they are white.
One is race one is ethnicity. Like all dogs are dogs not cats and all husky’s and chihuahuas are dogs yet no husky’s are chihuahuas.

I know a lot of Cubans. They all consider themselves white, because there are white and black Cubans.

I too recently was on the ss website, thought about replacing my 50+ yo SS card. Looked at the REAL ID compliant records required and stopped right there.
Why does the SSA need my DL photo copy, long form bc, email, phone number, and at least one other state or federal ID?
The old card will have to last the rest of my life.
Some government wonk was cursed at, with the blessing: “ May your daughter become the lover of a black Puerto Rican lesbian!” and made it a universal point of information.
With the amount of SSN fraud out there you are concerned that the SSA is trying to make re-issue more secure?

Hispanics are Caucasian. Race and ethnicity are not the same, although the left wants us to believe they are.
Had to see a social worker to be approved for the liver transplant. I can’t believe some of the questions that were asked. They even asked if my husband could leave the room so I could answer some more questions. We both said no. I am not asking for top secret clearance, just put me on the stupid list!!
No, you miss the point, I already am in the system, had created a complex account etc, but none of the extraneous documents were needed by my mother when I was 3, (BC sufficed) none of them are needed now that I am 58.
Not sure how my State issued DL is important of the fedgov regarding my SSAN.
