BLACK holes could be a portal to another universe and our cosmos could have been born from one, a scientist has sensationally claimed.
While the accepted theory on the universe began is the big bang, there are other equally baffling theories. One such is that our universe was born from a black hole opening in another parallel universe and that each black hole in our cosmos could be a gateway to another universe. At the beginning of time, 13.8 billion years ago, there was a dense and super-hot energetic point where the laws of physics did not apply – what is known as a singularity.

I have read about this idea before. Fascinating and not incredibly far fetched.
I love watching and reading about different possibilities of how our universe came about.
This is not a theological thread and YES I do believe God created the heavens and earth, but since He’s God he could have done it whichever way pleased him and it’s fn to ponder the different and fun scenarios (if some are not very plausible)
There’s one theory that the universe has been around forever just expanding and contracting over and over and over...and every MINUTE detail is repeated the EXACT same way each time. Interesting.
The “last thursday’ idea was at first a poke at us Christians but then some scientists said “not impossible”
There’s the matrix theory.

The theory of all possible outcomes.

Like the analogy of a flea not understanding riding under the fur of a dog who doesn’t know why his owner is climbing a hill with him and the owner is stopping on top to ponder the power of God over all.
Maybe we are in a black hole in the side pocket of an incredibly gigantic whiny kid’s blue jeans and he is about to dump our universe and many more into the waste basket in his bedroom when he wads up his bubble gum to throw it out.
Back in the 1960’s, I heard the hypothesis that the earth is really an atom in a pea on a giant’s dinner plate and that we’re about to be gobbled up.

The problem with all of these “pre” theories is that while they recognize that present physical laws only have meaning within our own universe, the theories invariably require some aspect of our universe to have been present before the singularity. In this case, a black hole which is a construct of our present universe had to pre-exist.
