Man Arrested While Attempting to Fix Flat Tires With Gauze and Band-Aids in Mission Viejo

A citizen reported the suspicious man next to the vehicle near Felipe Road and Barbadanes around 6 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they found both drivers side tires were flat and a 26-year-old man trying to repair them using gauze and Band-Aids.
The man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs, deputies said.
The suspects identity was not released.

Soap in an emergency. It hardens almost on contact with gasoline. Saw it in action sealing a punctured gas tank.

Just ordinary bar soap. Brown soap worked the best and I think naphtha soap bar as well.

Thanks! I’ve been a shade tree mechanic for decades and had never heard of that one. I’ll have to test that on the work bench just to see it work.
