I knew a guy who once fixed a leak in a gasoline line on his car with silly putty. The fire department was able to put out the fire.

Soap in an emergency. It hardens almost on contact with gasoline. Saw it in action sealing a punctured gas tank.

I heard the Apollo 8 astronauts used silly putty to hold small objects in place in zero gravity.

Don’t know if it was used on other Apollo flights.
