Malania is that pin up girl they all remember from their youth. Her support of OUR president is the same type of loyalty they wanted during the war.

How difficult for her knowing which side her family was on, but not a word from those who Hitler/Germany oppressed or the oppressors. Fitting for the remembrance of D Day I suppose but it’s still missing.

I once was told...you always explain a command/suggestion/thought to someone 3 different ways....because everyone's brain processes differently. You'll lose the majority if you only stick to one way of discussing.

Its so evident here on our train that we ALL see situations differently. Trying to talk to some here is a big challenge for me because I'm not a structured thinker. I have no dominance...My sister has always seen me as weak and controlling. She's always got the upper hand (in her democrat mind) I love her very much. She needs to think this in order to be comfortable with me. I just now understand....could that be what my father meant in his last words to me...crying.....I never thought of this before...sorry.

They are calling Trump’s speech like it is for two reasons only:

- they’d look like even greater fools if they dump on an obviously great speech that would have wide appeal

- they want to be able to say they call things as they are all the time. As in, “We don’t just look to criticize the president. We give him credit where credit is due - like his good speech on D Day.” They think it will make their otherwise 99% viciousness look accurate.

How difficult for her knowing which side her family was on

Even though Germany, Italy and Hungary each claimed parts of Slovenia, not too sure her parents or grandparents went along with Hitler.

My German aunt had tells to tell about the rise of Hitler and the war, she said Germans that they knew were not in favor of Hitler, appalled by what he was doing and they all suffered greatly.

They were very afraid, didn't speak their thoughts to anyone.

She was ashamed when she realized what had happened to the Jews and many others, she said they knew they were being taken away but didn't know till the war was over their horrible fate. Did you think it was weird that Merkel was at the D-Day Commemoration but not Putin?

Subject: Out of town pool report #1 — POTUS running behind

Good morning/afternoon from the Shannon Airport, where the pool is gathered on the tarmac.

Just noting that AF1 will not be departing at 2:30 p.m. local time as scheduled. POTUS has yet to leave his golf resort in Doonbeg, which is a 20-25 minute helo ride from here.

Subject: Out of town pool report # 2 — Sanders AF1 gaggle

POTUS is in the air and should be arriving here at Shannon Airport shortly.

Meantime, we just had a brief on the record gaggle with Sarah Sanders in the press cabin regarding the potential tariffs on Mexico that, she said, are still set to take effect tomorrow.

“Our position hasn’t changed,” she said. “Tariffs are going to take effect on Monday.”

She did note that the talks have been positive.

“They’ve made a lot of progress,” she said. “The meetings have gone well but as of now we’re still on track for tariffs on Monday.”

Sanders said POTUS Had not spoken with AMLO “as of earlier today” and has been getting updates from Secretary Pompeo and VPOTUS Pence.

On another topic:

Incidentally, while pool was holding at the airport this morning, a tweet surfaced that seemed to show POTUS, dressed in golf attire, with local schoolchildren.

Pool, which was staying in Limerick an hour away from Doonbeg, was not advised of any informal or unscheduled events or movements.

We’re told the image was taken in the golf course and that POTUS never left the club.

Subject: Out of town pool report #3 — Shannon departure

Marine One touched down on the windy tarmac at Shannon Airport at 2:59 p.m.

POTUS, dressed in a dark suit, white shirt, no tie and red USA hat, walked in a light drizzle holding hands with FLOTUS, who wore a khaki trench coat and light blue scarf in her hair, and boarded AF1 at 3:04 after shaking hands with a group of greeters at the bottom of the main stairs.

He did not come over to talk to the pool beneath the wing.

We will be wheels up for JBA shortly, with an estimated seven hours of flying time.

Yes many many people were unaware of what their government was doing. Since Malania’s parents kept their religion during the communist take over of their country, they certainly learned to keep their heads down like my friends in laws are doing in Iran today.
