WTH? Is this embarrassing or what. Being an idiot and following the in the footsteps of other USN 'heroes' like john "crash" mclame and john f'n kohn-heinz-kerry, and markellygiffords. A disgrace to the uniform I wore for sure. And none of them living up to the oath they swore to uphold. Mine is 50+ years old and it still in effect. And "top tier"? Who are they kidding?

By comparison, (and whatever you might think about him) Harvey Milk’s Naval service was *active*, rather than reserves.
He could also look to the example of Oliver Sipple, who saved Gerald Ford’s life.

Questions: when was he he in the naval Reserve? What was the policy on homosexuals when he was in the naval Reserve? And was he an active homosexual serving in the Navy when homosexuals were not allowed and everyone was asked the same questions and signed paper stating that they were not a communist, a Nazi, a homosexual? If he sign the dotted line and was a practicing homosexual he actually broke the law. And that does not excuse him from being a lawbreaker even though the policy has since changed. So those dates and those circumstances under which he was in the naval Reserve need to be answered for.
