"Banks are one of the most hated institutions in our country." But are probably liked more than Congress is.

Your take seems to be that she wants a new Bank of The United States. That is annissue that can be discussed readonably. She seems to want to use the example of the Postal System. At least two problems...union labor and lack of any real accountability for screwwing up, and well the USPS isn’t really a part of govt anymore.

My bank account even more regulated by the govt.
I have a friend who just went through this. He wanted to buy a vehicle and pay cash for it. But he had to transfer some money from his money market to his checking account. The bank put a seven day hold on that due to the amount of the transfer, and while he was waiting the vehicle got sold out from under him. That was a George W. Bush antiterrorism regulation.

Banks are one of the most hated institutions in our country. Not really.
I humbly disagree. One of the few areas where Democrats gain any traction these days is to go after banks for their insane fees and 24% credit card rates. That Milburn Drysdale character worked for a reason.

If the GOP has any brains, they should go out of their way to tie AOC to every first-term Dem incumbent who won in ‘18 - especially in all those suburban districts that thought they were so cool by voting Dem.

I have no idea where you get such a notion. I know of no one who hates their bank or any bank. Bizarre. No responsible person pays 24% credit card rates. Those that do are fools.

I’ve gotten to a point where I don’t care if they want to give the PO banking privileges, that okay with me as long as I don’t have to use them.

Banks in the post offices? That's an old New Deal idea, it lasted a few decades I think. Thanks Steve1999.
